Today, my ex-boyfriend got married. Normally this wouldn’t bother me at all, had his bride not been the girl we constantly argued about all the time during our relationship. The one he “swore on his grandma’s grave he would never see that way.” Oh, and we broke up 7 months ago. FML
Today, my brother announced his engagement. I'm going to be the Maid of Honor. My ex, who told me after five years of dating that he didn't believe in marriage, is going to be the Best Man. I get to walk down the aisle with him. FML

Idk about this one. His ex girlfriend may not really be an ex, it may just be one of those things where they're close friends and they kind of date but they aren't really that much of a couple and then they break up but because it was so casual they're still friends.

Um last time I checked the BRIDE picks the bridesmaids, HER friends and family, not his. Let her be a grooms woman if he wants her there so bad but i wouldnt marry that guy.

Why would OP want her boyfriend's ex invited or even help out?. You don't cross that mix together, it's awkward and weird. OP's boyfriend might just be cheating on her with his old flame and maybe he just suggested it because he feels bad. Anyway who knows why he'd say such a thing.
