Today, my ex-boyfriend got married. Normally this wouldn’t bother me at all, had his bride not been the girl we constantly argued about all the time during our relationship. The one he “swore on his grandma’s grave he would never see that way.” Oh, and we broke up 7 months ago. FML
Today, my brother announced his engagement. I'm going to be the Maid of Honor. My ex, who told me after five years of dating that he didn't believe in marriage, is going to be the Best Man. I get to walk down the aisle with him. FML

My girlfriend is currently still married to her wife (in the process of a divorce made very difficult because of differing gay rights) but we are all great friends. There is no jealousy or awkwardness at all. I don't see why someone being an ex has to make them your enemy.
