Today, my little brother found the singing Santa Claus from last year, and it still works. I'm now going to be hearing nothing but "We WISH you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!" for the next 20 days. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, at my four-year-old daughter's insistence, I looked for - and found - a radio station that plays "Santa music" all year round. She's ecstatic and I can't turn it off without upsetting her. FML
Today, I came home to find my parents wearing Santa hats and blasting Christmas music at full volume. So begins three months of hell. FML
Today, my mom found her CD of cats and dogs singing Christmas songs. That is what I'll be listening to until Christmas. FML
Today, my neighbors coated their house in flashing Christmas lights and blared out "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" all day long. Only 29 days left until Christmas. FML
Today, I saw Santa. He gave me the finger. FML
Today, I was at lunch with my mom and we were talking about how to tell my brother that Santa Claus isn't real. After we finished our conversation, I heard someone crying. Little did I know, two little kids and their parents were sitting in the booth behind me. FML
Today, I found out that if you whistle Christmas carols while shitting in a public bathroom, a little boy might just look under the stall to see if Santa is pooping. FML
Today, I was in the mall for the second day in a row with my 7-year-old brother. As we walked past Santa he asked me, "Why does Santa look different today"? Not thinking, I said, "Because each mall has a different Santa." FML
Today, my neighbor installed a large radio that loudly plays Christmas music 24/7. When I called in a complaint to the police department they told me to, "get in the Christmas spirit." FML
Today, I was on the phone with my friend, when my four year old nephew came in, asking who I was talking to. I told him it was Santa Claus, so he insisted on talking to him. I handed over the phone and I hear, "Santa is fake. Grow up." I spent the next two hours with a screaming child proving Santa exists. FML

Batteries, just take the batteries out and have them mysteriously disappear (and any others in the house). Or get into the spirit of things and sing along with it. :P

My recommendation is that when he's not around take the batteries out of it and hide them. That or snip one of the connecting wires so that it just doesn't work. Even if your parent's found out and were mad it still seems like it would be better than being driven into a murderous rage by a singing Santa.

Pull out the battery (might require some "surgury" if it's not a replacable one) and say it broke when he whines about how it stopped working. And if he asks you to fix it, you don't have time until after Christmas.

the best way to spread, Christmas cheer, is singing LOUD, for all to hear (:

Christmas FMLs make me want to go buy a bunch of Christmas related movies. Especially the comment above, referring to Elf :)

How is this a FML? Just hide the toy or take out the batteries. Be creative and get rid of the toy. People can be such babies these days.

The "moderated" part isn't capitalized and it is all supposed to be in italics. You fail my friend.
