Uuuh, what evidence would you require, OP? It just seems to be common sense that sperm in your husband's urethra will get jealous and try to pull the newly formed zygote out. Honestly, people these days…

Unless you have some issue that puts you at risk, that's total crap and I would be finding a new OB asap! If your dr doesnt base anything on facts then you are in for one rough pregnancy...what's next, not lifting your arms above your head or being on your feet at all? On the plus side, your husband seems really sweet and wants to take care of you and baby, however misguided he may be!

WTF is wrong with your doctor? I would find a new one. No doctor that idiotic would be allowed near my baby, in utero or at birth! That's too risky for my liking.

I'd definitely be looking for a new OB. Unless there's a medical reason, sex is safe at any point during pregnancy as long as your water hasn't broken. If your dr isn't telling you facts, find a new one. Not worth you or baby getting hurt due to their... eccentricity.

God your husband should be happy you actually want to have sex during your pregnancy. A lot of women do not. Your man is really dumb and you really should consider a new doctor.
