Today, my grandma's chihuahua was run over while I was taking her for a walk. She later whispered to me, "It should have been you." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, while at the dinner table, my grandmother told me she backed over a cat. FML
Today, my dog showed me her latest kill. Too bad it was the stuffed animals my dead grandmother had given me as a child that had a lot of sentimental value to me. FML
Today, my dog died and I told my grandfather I wanted her to be cremated. I came home later to find him burning her in our barbecue pit. FML
Today, I laughed at my grandma's chihuahua poodle mix, as it barked at me entering the house. "What are you going to do, nibble me to death?" is apparently enough to make it jump and bite me. I needed five stitches. FML
Hands off
Today, I took my dog for a walk. He became friendly with another dog, and I reached down to pet them both. Suddenly, an old woman ran up to me and whacked me with her cane repeatedly. Apparently, her previous dog had been kidnapped by a woman who looked a lot like me. FML
Today, my mother-in-law tried to "accidentally" run me over. FML
Today, after mourning and making my girlfriend cancel her big birthday party, I found out my grandma didn't actually die. FML
Today, I went to visit my grandmother. My grandfather recently died, so I had gotten her a cat for comfort. Turns out in her sadness, she had forgotten about the cat. I found its remains being eaten by ants and birds. FML
Today, while at my aunt's funeral, my grandma who has terrible memory loss asked me whose funeral we were at. I had to explain to her that her daughter had died. FML
RIP in peace
Today, my grandmother died. No one called me to let me know she passed. I found out because people kept writing RIP on her Facebook wall. My siblings and I weren't even mentioned in her obituary with the other grandchildren, but they did remember to mention her dog. FML

I'd whisper back "it's gonna be you" smile and walk away.

I have a Papillon and if he was ever run over, I would be in jail for murdering someone. Your grandma was probably really sad. :( Old people tend to get very close to their pets. However, she shouldn't have said that to you. But poor chihuahua :(

Better watch your back, grandma might be taking you out for a "walk".

Reminds me of the Oscar Myer Commercial with the blunt grandfather. (Haven't seen it ? Youtube it.) Don't stress it OP.

It would probably help if you spelled Oscar Mayer correctly. Come on, you don't know the bologna song? It spells it out for you!

Were you the one walking the dog when it was hit? Maybe she blames you.
