Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because she found out I play video games. No, not that I play too many video games or have an addiction to video games. Just that I play them, period. FML

Today, I was playing competitively for my clan in a tournament. Money is involved, and I was doing quite well until my girlfriend up and turned the PS4 off because I wasn't "paying enough attention" to her, despite being on a holiday with her for the previous 3 days. FML
Today, after six months of dating, my girlfriend decided to break up with me because my "obsession" of being on the computer and playing games all the time was cutting into "our time". She then told me to "get a life" and never wanted to see me again. She told me all of this on WoW. FML
Today, I beat my boyfriend in a video game. He promptly dumped me and told me to leave. FML
Today, my girlfriend of several years broke up with me because of my lack of ability to contribute financially to the life that she envisioned for herself, due to my significant contributions in child support to my ex. She wants a more equal partner. FML
Today, I realized that my ex has REALLY dumped me for a video game. And he will not change his mind. FML

Today, my girlfriend broke up with me after I beat her once again in a trivia game. She said that I was cheating, and if I was cheating on the game, I was definitely cheating on her as well. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because I was unsuccessful at a job interview, and she didn't want to be with someone who "has no future". She's unemployed too. FML

If you read this carefully, it says, "Not making enough money." Not that he's not making any money at all, just not enough which is a reasonable reason to have a break up since life in general is a lot more expensive these days. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just that she didn't want to be with someone who didn't make enough. So it's no biggie. Move along.

Obviously your gf has finished off the last of her brain cells...I want your job! Sounds awesome! Well if the pay is good...that raise could be an increase of .05c up from minimum wage for all I know lol. Still a fun job!

i have all the time in the world. but i'm also broke and unemployed, so i can't buy a girl nice things. as has been pointed out in this thread, women have to chose: time or money. i can spend all day every day with a girl, or i can take her out to nice restaurants and buy her roses and jewelry. unless you're a multimillionaire who makes loads of money without doing a thing then your woman has to choose. then again, it sounds to me like she was just making an excuse to dump you. either way, FYL.
