Today, my girlfriend and I made lists of what celebrities we're interested in. The first one she listed wasn't a celebrity - it was my brother. He's spending the weekend with us. FML
Today, I found out that my girlfriend takes videos of me sleeping and watches them with her friends. FML
Today, I admitted to my girlfriend that I'd kissed another girl five days before we got together. She told me, "That's OK, I slept with my boss last week." FML
Today, I got to sleep in the same bed as the love of my life...and her new boyfriend. FML
Today, I found out that my current girlfriend has dated all of my friends at one time or another. FML
Today, I found out my girlfriend had sex with three different guys in one day. All at a party. A party that I was at. FML
Today, my girlfriend admitted to me that she has been sleeping with someone on her girls basketball team, which at first turned me on. Then I found out he's the team manager. FML
Today, my girlfriend and I went out with one of her guy friends. After two bars, we ended up back at her place and somehow the three of us ended up in bed. I was a Gold Star Lesbian and now I'm just a slutty bi girl. FML
Today, my girlfriend and I were going to have sex. To set the mood, she suggested we watch a porno she once starred in. FML
Today, I learned that my girlfriend is cheating on me when she was arrested for having sex in public. Not with me though. FML

Ya at first I was thinking that your life sucks, but then I realized you both actually made a list of 5 celebrities you were allowed to sleep with and then I realized ydi, because part of you had to think it was the tiniest bit possible in order for you to make the list in the first place. So ydi. From now on vow to sleep with only each other no matter who else comes along.

It's meant to be an absurd joke. A list of celebrities that you agree are totally cheat worthy. The joke is that no one expects to actually have it happen, hence the FML. OP wasn't really okay with cheating, he just never thought there was a chance his girlfriend would have the opportunity. Or, perhaps, he didn't think she'd actually go through with it even if she could.

#94 explained it perfectly. It is joked about because it is highly unlikely that you will even meet a celebrity on your list, let alone get to talk to them or even be intimate. The fact that it actually happened is probably the first time it's ever happened to anyone, and OP is extremely unlucky. But cheating is cheating. No one should take the '5 celebrities' list seriously, so it's still cheating, just the same as if OP's girlfriend had gone to a bar and slept with someone she met there. I do assume, #3, that you mean you don't see the point in making those lists, but I'd already typed the above and refuse to delete it now :P
