Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't want to go out with him because I was having a fat day. After ten minutes of fighting, he threw a ring box on the floor and stormed out. I basically refused his proposal because of my body issues. FML

Tell him it would be okay with you if he had a larger package, and if he doesn't grow it within a week, the engagement is off and you'll never talk to him again.

That he would be willing to risk the life (yes, there have been deaths; surgery can always kill you) of someone he allegedly loves for a cosmetic and completely optional surgery is appalling, particularly if the OP is happy with her appearance. She should ask him why he's put up with her for this long if he's never been happy with her. It's also entirely possible that he was doing this to make her break up with him if this is the first she's heard of it. Clearly this couple needs to have a long conversation.

Wow. I feel like he's getting cold feet, and looking for an excuse to leave, if he's never been like that before. If he's made comments earlier in the relationship though, then he's still an ass and you need to leave, in public, throw the ring in his face and humiliate him.
