What is wrong with that? Its her life. She isn't doing drugs, having wild sex, or committing crimes. Its her life, so why not let her live it how she chooses.

Maybe she just liked black? I don't understand why so many people have to hate emos. It's just a phase. When you adults were kids, your parents thought your music was shit right? We'll grow out of being emo or scene just like you grew out of being hippies or rebels or whatever you were when you were our age. The hair is not permanent. It can be redyed, grown out, cut. The make up can be wiped off every night. The clothes can be changed. Stop hating someone because of what they like. And OP, maybe you should be glad that instead being out every night partying, doing drugs, drinking, and having sex, your daughter just wants to dress differently. Hope you enjoy making fun of your daughter and possibly making her feel like shit for dressing differently. Wonderful parent you are.
