Today, my boyfriend took me out to meet his friends. It was going really well until I left to use the bathroom and two of the girls with us came in and started talking about how creepy Matt's new girlfriend is and that they're happy he's going to dump her. My boyfriend is Matt. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I went with my girlfriend to her ex-boyfriend's house party. She got incredibly drunk and I spent the whole night looking after her when she was throwing up. In the brief moment before she passed out she said "thanks Matt, you're a great boyfriend." Matt is her ex. FML
Today, I met my boyfriend's best friend. She was a girl he's known for years, and I respected that. She was sweet, until my boyfriend went to the bathroom and she threatened to stab me if I don't leave him. He doesn't believe me, and accused me of having serious jealousy issues. FML
Today, my boyfriend decided to visit me at work. With another girl. FML
Today, I was at dinner with my boyfriend. About 30 minutes into dinner and I see my exes come in, one by one. In the end, they were all sitting at the same table. My boyfriend got up and went to the bathroom. He came back and sat down with them. Apparently my boyfriend went through my phone and called all of them. FML
Today, I went to my boyfriend's house to meet his parents. After hundreds of passive-aggressive comments, my boyfriend and I went into the kitchen. I started complaining to him about how his parents were horrible and mean. Little did I know, his parents had followed us in and were right behind me. FML
Today, 48 hours after my boyfriend introduced me to his friend group so I could make new friends and I'd joined their group chat, two long-term couples have broken up and left without any explanation. FML
Today, I went on a date with the girl of my dreams. Her boyfriend, who she said she'd broken up with, was at the same restaurant with another girl. She screamed at him for ten minutes, then they started making out, and left together. The girl he was with looked at me and said "Eww", then went to hit on another guy. FML
Today, I was introduced to the girl my current boyfriend went out with while dating me. FML
Today, my parents met my boyfriend for the first time. They spent the entire meal trying to convince him to dump me, all while I was sitting right next to him. FML
Today, I met my boyfriend's parents. Later on, his mom pulls me aside and tells me to back off, saying he will never marry someone like me and he should be with a nice girl like his ex. They broke up after he found her in his bed with his roomate. FML

They knew you were in there. They were probably just trying to make you think he's going to dump you. Unless I'm completely wrong and he does.

It seems unlikely that he'd go to the trouble of introducing you to his friends if he was planning on dumping you...that'd just create problems down the line. I'd wager those girls were just trying to get under your skin.

Harumph. To those say "YDI for being creepy" it's likely she's not actually creepy but is just different from them, who sound to me like your standard Barbie-esque bimbos, and thus think anyone who doesn't obsess over pink and make up is creepy/weird/freaky. Even if it is a prank, they seem like some real bitches. Guess you'll know if Matt breaks up with you.

Just because it pisses you guys off. YDI for being a creepy loser. Anyways. I either call fake, or you're taking them too seriously. If they were friends he brought you out to meet, they wouldn't have gone to the bathroom and talk about you while you're in there. Its pretty noticeable when someone leaves the group, especially the girlfriend/boyfriend of a friend, unless it was a large party. Second of all, I doubt he'd break up with you right after introducing you to his friends. That makes no sense. If he wanted confirmation that you were creepy, he'd give bias scenarios over some sort of conversation to have his friends decide...without you there.
