Today, my boyfriend of over a year finally told me he loved me. This revelation was quickly followed by "at least, I think this is how people feel when they say that." FML

Today, my boyfriend told me he loved me for the first time. About 2 hours later, he got to hold my hair while I puked, also for the first time. FML
Today, for the first time ever, my boyfriend of one year told me he loved me. He was calling me by collect call from the county jail. FML

Today my boyfriend proposed to me and I gladly accepted. The first words out of his mouth after getting off his knees were, "I own you now!" FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I loved him for the first time. The L-word is probably one of the only things I'm scared to say, so what did he do? He stared at me blankly before making a farting noise with his mouth and asking if he could go get Chicken Express for dinner. FML
Today, my girlfriend told me she loved me for the first time. Unfortunately, it was her way of saying that she didn't want to lose me after cheating on me yesterday. FML

At least he's honest.. Maybe it was awkward, he wanted to tell you and didn't know how, he was nervous... But honestly, you should probably just move on.

I don't get why people can't just be man enough or women enough to just tell the other person that they don't love them anymore. The other person will be sad but at least you were honest with them instead of cheating on them.

I love how everyone is assuming OP's boyfriend meant "I love you but there's a list of like six girls I love" kind of way. It's entirely unreal to expect for your SO to give their partner "all of their love" in the way that they can't love anyone or anything else. Everyone can possibly love someone with all their heart but still also love their family, friends, pets, weather, Mac and cheese, etc. and anyone that finds that a problem-- that's their problem. This is the perfect situation where everyone can answer "what is 'love'?" and every answer will be different, and can be a combination of them. And of course this FML is vague, because that's what works, but it could very well be that OP's bf had a slip of the tongue. I'm which case OP, I recommend that you ask him to clarify what he means. He could have meant a number of things but his message simply isn't as transparent as it should have been. In which case your BF meant "I love other people more than you in the bang bang flower valentine way" however, then you should sit down with your BF and talk about the relationship because it might not be wise to stay in a one-sided relationship.

It's definitely possible that the bf said that and meant that he loves mac & cheese, but I don't think that op would post if that was what the bf meant.
