The OP never said anything about cheating. Maybe they were at a strip club together or something (Yes couples do that together sometimes) and he got drunk and decided to propose

As someone who got married at 18 and was forgiving for his childhood flings so to say. I'm telling you its best to move on. I got divirced 14 years later. I won't say he didn't love me but he didn't respect me. To this day even when he is in a serious relationship he still lets me know how much fun we could have. i realize how lucky i am because i know now it wasnt me it was him and he will always be a cheater.
