Today, my boyfriend had the choice of A) living alone gaming, or B) moving in with me, gaming in his own man-cave, lots of sex, and lots of pizza. He chose choice A. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend and I were planning how to spend the day together. When I suggested we start off with some fun in bed, then get some pizza and play his favorite video game, he sighed, "Can't we just go straight to gaming?" FML
Plebs need not apply.
Today, when my new boyfriend told me he liked playing games, he meant a 60" TV with a professional gaming chair in the middle of his living room, and 48-hour gaming marathons where he totally ignores me, refuses to sleep or shower, and only has energy drinks and cheerios. FML
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up. He said it was because he wanted to 'do his own thing'. So gaming 24/7 like he has for the past two years of our relationship, then. FML
Bates Motel
Today, I gave my boyfriend a choice between me and the super creepy, codependent, almost Norman Bates relationship he has with his mother. Guess which he chose. FML
Today, I had to choose between staying with my boyfriend and moving out to a better job. I chose my boyfriend. He promptly left me because I didn't take the job. FML
Today, I gave the option to my boyfriend of 5 years to either quit World of Warcraft of lose me. He said WOW makes him happier. FML
Today, I'm staying at my boyfriend's house and things were getting heated when he got a call from one of his mates wanting to play Counter Strike. Next thing I know, I'm laying in bed by myself listening to him rage. FML
Switch 2: Electric Boogaloo
Today, I found my boyfriend playing games when we have 5 million things to do, but the bastard picked me up, put me in the hall, shut the door in my face, and barricaded it with the sofa. I texted him, threatening to break up unless he opened the door; he texted back to leave my key behind when I left. FML
Today, I found out that the only reason my boyfriend wants to move in with me is so he has better internet connection and won't get kicked off of Xbox live while playing MW2. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I reached that point in our relationship where just a simple phone conversation was too boring. His idea to spice things up? Playing Minecraft together. FML

Either he's just generally stupid or there has to be more to this story... Must be a reason for why he chose what he did.

he knew sex was going to be a huge obstacle in his path towards saving the world and online greatness. our maybe he just doesn't share pizza.

Maybe OP's boyfriend and mine should get a place. I've pretty much given mine the same deal (we've been together 4 years) *and* I'm a gamer. He'd still rather live with other roommates.

with option A there is always gaming. with option B there is sex, pizza and "why don't we ever go out?"

It makes me wonder what kind of person you really are that he chose option A over B and like others said don't try to force other into something they aren't ready for you'll only push them farther away from you.

I was with a guy like that.. I lived with him for a while when I moved to his city and while written up for my own place.. we lived well together.. but turned out its not as easy to have girls over when you live with a gf so.. yeh.. glad today that I had my own place and could dumb him..

He chose well, OP. Once you move in it's either marriage or breakup.

I support his choice

thats because if you're having sex, you aren't playing battlefield. no sex=plus kills, sex=minus kills

He made a wise choice. Just because he doesn't want to live together(yet) doesn't mean he doesn't love you. There are perks to living alone that he might not want to give up yet. The ability to come and go as he pleases, not having to answer to anybody, the ability to have friends over for marathon gaming sessions. There are countless other perks. If you're both young enjoy the relationship you currently have cause you have those perks also. If you're older (30+) you might want to rethink your relationship
