Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I've recently become serious about getting fit, and have lost nearly 84 pounds. Apparently, when I was fat, I made her look smaller in comparison. When I got slimmer, she insisted I either gain the weight back or she'd leave. So she did. FML
Today, my boyfriend admitted to purposely sabotaging all my weight loss efforts. When I confronted him, he said it’s because he doesn’t want me to get thin and turn into one of those stuck up, snobby, mean girl types that wouldn’t date him in high school. We’re in our 30s dude, get over it! FML

I think that's shallow. I don't judge anybodies weight on how ill let them into my life. You should let your heart choose who you want to be with not your eyes. I date all across the board. If you really loved someone their looks really don't matter. If I gave you a puppy and you had it for three years and then it got fat would you stop loving it?

#103, rejecting someone for being 5 lbs overweight is shallow, but most people would think it's perfectly normal not to be physically attracted to someone who is 100 lbs overweight. There's a magic number somewhere between 5 and 100 where sexual attraction stops. Where is it? For the OP, it was >40, but for the boyfriend, it was 15. Who's wrong and who's right? You don't need to have sex for it to be considered a relationship any kind of contact with another soul is a relationship and usually a bond with a dog is very close so is your bond with your significant other.
