Today, my boyfriend and I were watching a scary movie. I was starting to get a small headache so he gently brushed my hair. During a scary part he jumped and hit me in the head as hard as he could with the brush. I'm still recovering from the migraine. FML

Today, while making out with my boyfriend, I sneezed so hard that my head shot forward and smashed against his, sending his head backwards against the wall. He ended up with a concussion, and I still feel like someone hit me over the head with a chair. FML
Today, I fell asleep on the couch and my boyfriend thought it would be cute to carry me to bed. He knocked my head on the door frame and I pretended it didn't hurt because he felt so bad, but I shouldn't have. I was rushed to the hospital hours later with a concussion. FML
Today, my boyfriend was at my house to hang out. When he was leaving I thought it would be cute to run and jump on him to say goodbye. He fell and hit his head. He is now in the hospital with a concussion. FML
Today, my boyfriend woke up to me crying. He asked what was wrong, but before I could answer, he'd already rolled over and started snoring louder than ever, making the migraine I was crying about even worse. FML
Today, my boyfriend decided it would be fun to sit on my lap. In the process he landed on me so hard that he made me hit my head. Then when he turned around his elbow smacked into my nose causing it to break. FML
Today, I woke up with a headache and a bruised forehead after my husband full-force elbowed me in the head last night in his sleep. It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact he has zero memory of doing it. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I shared our first kiss. When I leaned in on him, he fell over backwards and smashed his head against the floor. FML
Today, I ran up to my boyfriend to kiss him when he got home from work. I tripped and I fell on him, and he fell backwards. He ended up hitting his head on the sidewalk and had to get stitches. He also had a concussion. FML
Today, my boyfriend thought it would be cute to try and pick me up while kissing, instead he tripped and slammed the back of my head on the corner of the wall. FML
Today, my boyfriend is completely obsessed with zombie and horror movies. I don’t care what he watches, the only problem is the big wuss has horrible thrashing nightmares. Last night he thrashed so hard, he elbowed me in the face. I have a big swollen purple knot right on my forehead. FML

no, brushing your hair does not help with migraines. Nor does getting hit in the head with a brush cause them. I suffer from severe migraines, and they are a neurological disorder.

I love having my hair brushed, I find it really relaxing and soothing. I'd love it if someone did it for me when I had a headache.

Come on! I hate when people call a headache a migraine. They're two totally different things! Migraines are a neurological disorder that cause you to throw up, be disoriented, and sensitive to light and sound. So not when you get whacked with a brush, quit being dramatic.

as a migraine sufferer, I can tell you that getting whacked with a brush while in the midst of a migraine does not make matters better. in fact, it can make the pain escalate to the point where the person blacks out for a small bit and puke.

I've never used a brush to do that, but my headaches tend to go away when someone runs their fingers through my hair. It is really relaxing.

How is not brushing your hair bad hygiene? Sure, it can look bad sometimes if you don't, but mine gets frizzy and poofy if I brush it so I don't do it unless I start to get knots in my hair. I wash it every day, so it's not dirty. Brushing it just makes it look neater for most people, just not me.

I don't brush my hair with a BRUSH. I condition it nightly and run through it with my hands to make sure it's not knotty. I have really curly hair, brushing it with a brush would be a terrifying thing.
