Today, my AP teacher once again accused me of plagiarism. Apparently the words "demise," "ultimately," and "rural," are too sophisticated for an 11th grade AP student to use and MUST have been copied from the Internet. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I turned in an overdue English assignment at college. My instructor accused me of plagiarism, writing that my sentence structure was "TO" good. Seriously? FML
Today, I got cited for "internet plagiarism" and called to the dean's office. I'd been sitting a closed-book written exam, and my teacher had been breathing down my neck the whole time. FML
Today, at school, I got in trouble for plagiarizing on a paper. The subject of said paper was where I see myself in ten years. FML
Today, my teacher called a friend and me out of class and told us we had been reported for plagiarism because our answers to a problem were nearly identical, and he said that I shouldn't have shared my work. This for an assignment where significant marks were awarded for collaborating with peers. FML
Not how it works...
Today, my classmate told me she can copy an article from the internet and hand that in, as long as she cites it at the end. FML
Do your own research
Today, I got yelled at for 10 minutes by my head of department for failing one of my students for plagiarism, because, "we can't be sure." It was my work he plagiarised, but because it's not in our system, it doesn't count. FML
Occam's razor
Today, I got an A+ on a writing assignment. My teacher asked me three times if I really did write this article myself, and didn't memorise an article from the Internet. FML
Quite the accusation
Today, I got a paper back that was given a zero for suspected plagiarism. Everything I wrote was my own thought and analysis. My instructor basically thinks my paper is smarter than I am. He won't listen, even when I explain my thought processes throughout the piece. FML
Notebooks out, plagiarists!
Today, I collected my students' final essays. One of them submitted a printout of a screenshot he took with his phone. Too bad a browser address bar was still in the shot, along with a "click to read more" link at the bottom. My students are too dumb and lazy to even plagiarize properly. FML
There's always someone with a big nose who knows
Today, I failed an assignment because the person I paid to do it plagiarized the entire thing. FML

Jokes on them; if you're telling the truth then you're clearly more intelligent than they think you could be, good for you!

that's bs. if he makes that allegation, he should be able to point to where you supposedly plagiarized. there is software for that, too. you've got to be diplomatic, but stand your ground if you're right.

Look on the bright side. At least the fact that you know words like this and don't copy what you see on the internet means you can spell well enough to get a VDM published.

I had a 4th grade teacher who marked me wrong when I didn't spell 'apartment' with two Ps. When I got out the dictionary to show her, she yelled at me for contradicting her. I feel your pain, OP.

if your really that smart there's no way you would let your teacher tell you that without proving her/him wrong. smart people don't let people tell them they are wrong or cheaters. fact.

o_O Really? I'm a freshman in high school and those words are NOT too sophisticated. Your teacher is retarded.

the same thing happened to me in sr. English. I was thought to be a plagiarizer because my final project was about Nikola Tesla while everyone else spoke about chainsaws and dirt bikes. (I lived in a redneck town). my teacher didn't even know who tesla was and got pissed when I said he was a more successful scientist than edison, before he went bankrupt.
