Today, in college, we were asked at what age girls tend to become physically attractive. Wrongly thinking the answer was in relation to puberty, I said, "Umm... 11 or 12?" Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of pedophile. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Figure it out
Today, I'm a guy who's always been physically a late bloomer. In high school, I looked too young for girls to like me. At 22, I still looked 17. Now at 25, I look good but when girls find out my age, they expect me to have everything figured out by now. I never got to be young. FML
Old soul
Today, I was asked if I had children who are in high school. I’m 17. This isn't the first time someone has mistaken me for a woman in her twenties. FML
Today, I fell in love with a girl on the internet, she's great and funny. She says she's 16, but everyone keeps telling me she's only 11 and that I'm a pedophile. FML
Short king
Today, I'm at the age where I'm supposed to be having the time of my life. I'm short and look so young that I get asked if I'm still in high school. Every girl I've ever known looks at me like a "little brother". The only girls who have shown interest are still too young to vote. I'm missing out on my 20s. FML
Today, I was at work refreshing the shelves when a man turned the corner and said, very surprised, "You look 12!" A few weeks back, two people did the same thing, only they said I looked 9. I'm almost 21 years old, and just very short. Starting to get just a little self conscious here. FML
Zoomers
Today, as I was at work as a gynecologist, a twelve-year-old girl asked me, on a scale of 1-10, how tight her "fun stuff" was. This is the new generation. FML
Today, at school, a guy walked up to me and said I look a little too young to be at high school. I told him that I'm sixteen years old. He stared at my chest for several long seconds, muttered "What the fuck?" and walked off. FML
Shorty
Today, I was mistaken for an 8th grader because of my height. I'm 32 years-old. FML
Observational comedy
Today, I, an insecure high school student, told my 11-year-old sister that I got my period in third grade. She responded with, “What?! Then how come you didn’t have tits until last year?” FML
You tried
Today, while shopping, I saw a little girl and her mom. The girl was pouting so I tried to cheer her up by asking her if she was a princess, because she was so pretty. She smiled but her mom looked at me with disgust and told me to, "Get lost, pedo." I'm a 17-year-old girl. FML

No girl is attractive until they're legal... that rule will keep you out of jail

Girls are like multiplication, if the number is small enough, it's best to just do them in your head.

Well, at least you didn't mean 11-12 months!

Does being 11-12 make it better? I think we just found the pedophile
AriettaX 15
fair enough, but an 11 year old boy is allowed to find an 11 year old girl cute, right?
chavis808 13
was that supposed to be funny?

I'd say 21, that's when they can legally drink & go to a club ;)

No, when they become attractive not when they find you attractive.

Honestly i would say 18, cause that is the age where a girl is fully truly developed, even brain wise.

apply cold water to burnt area.
Lilo128 5
Yea that's not correct.
Crypticedge 6
The brain actually keeps developing until you're 25, and drinking before then stunts it's development.
Already_Dead 15
I agree with the guy above me. The brain isn't fully developed until someone reaches their early or mid twenties. Sure, the body is fully developed at 18, and for most even sooner than that, but... brain-wise? Nah.
dammityou 10
some people never even get to develop a full brain, at least that's what it seems like at times...

Even the body doesn't finish growing until 21. Yes, that includes boobs. It's obviously slower then though...you probably only gain a few cms height in the last couple of years.

Did you explain what you meant? Chin up OP, if it's a larger college class I'm sure the comment will blow over.
Chibi_Kitten 24
I'm sure they'll forget it in a few days. Don't worry OP.

Ah, you were talking about my profile picture, weren't you?

same here. I was actually answering the question in my head until I realized his answer was wrong.
noah_1234 24
in a way he's right because thats when they start growing boobs (not being a pedophile or anything). that was my experience in middle school.

I mean if you were in a different country I guess it wouldn't be such a big deal.....
sydneysays 15
Aye that's rough: I guess it makes sense how you mixed up the questions though
Britt125 16
I would have thought the same way if it was asked like that, kind of a weird question and open to misinterpretation.

Clear that up asap if that's not what you meant. I once had this customer that used to say perverted things like, "If there's grass on the field, then it's time to play ball." I could never look at him as anything other than a sicko!
miss_amphetamine 24
LOL that's a ridiculous question anyway, some girls never become attractive (saying this as a female.) I totally see how you would have mixed up what he meant. Hopefully you cleared it up, OP!
Gittoh 21
you can't say that. they might find someone who see their beauty. just because you find someone non-attractive, doesnt mean that they are. you know what I mean? same goes with men.

I'm honestly not much of a looker, but my boyfriend thinks I'm pretty, so whatever. Looks really are subjective and different people will find different characteristics attractive.
GentlemanBastard 15
Reminds me of a study I read on attractiveness. While it is somewhat subjective, most people tend to find certain characteristics attractive more than others. Like facial symmetry, for instance. What I also found interesting, is that in a double-blind study, most people were actually attracted to people that did not match what they thought they "wanted in a partner".
miss_amphetamine 24
This is a really late response, but you're absolutely right. Attractiveness is subjective. What I meant was that when people "become attractive" varies a lot, and some people never find certain people attractive at all. There is always someone that will find another person beautiful regardless of "objective beauty". I'm sorry if I didn't phrase my original comment well, because that wasn't what I was trying to refer to at all...and reading it over I realized it kinda sounded mean. What I meant to say was that the professor's question was really messed up and invalid in general.

this was in response to #60, sorry, i'm inept lol.
