Today, I overheard my husband of 3 years talking to our boss, an attractive blonde. She was telling him that she couldn't believe he was with me. She thinks I'm fat and ugly and that he's hot. He said, "She's not that bad…" We work in the same store and she follows him around like a puppy. FML
Today, I came home upset about the sexism in my work place. I just wanted to be alone, but my husband insisted we talk about it. I noticed he kept looking over and one of his hands was moving. He was playing video games the entire time I was spilling my guts. FML
Today, I was complaining to my husband about a busty but vapid celebrity, and he replied, "She doesn't need brains, honey, she has boobs. You wouldn't understand." FML
Today, my husband called me annoyingly needy for saying he never compliments me. I could be half-naked, shaking my ass on the internet, or cruising bars to get validation from strangers. God forbid a woman wants the one person she loves to pay her a crumb of attention. FML
Today, I overheard my boyfriend bragging about me to his friends, telling them I have a great smile, cute hair, and very perky tits. This wouldn't be so bad if we weren't both men. FML
Today, I was in the car with my husband complaining about the way I look. His response, "Babe, if I cared about the way you looked I wouldnt have married you." FML
Today, I got paired up with a coworker for a three-month project. All he talks about is how attractive my girlfriend is and what he would do with her. FML
Today, I came to work ready to impress my boss. A couple of weeks ago I asked him for a promotion from stock to sales and I have been proving myself worthy. Turns out he hired a new girl for sales, with great, big, fake breasts. FML
Today, I realised I may need to work on my marriage when I saw my husband in public, laughing and smiling with his coworkers, then when he saw me his smile disappeared and he stood up like a tired old man to come and speak to me. FML
Today, I told one of my coworkers that she looked really cute today. Later she sent an email to me and cc'd the entire office saying, "It really makes me feel uncomfortable when you say things like that to me. And I shouldn't have to feel that way at work." FML

Both FYL and YDI. FYL for marrying such a scumbag, unless you treated it some way that made him turn like that, my ex was treating me so badly I came to a point where I just stayed with her for sex, didn't give a shit about the rest, came to realize it was better to end it like that then continue a shitty relationship like that. YDI for asking for good treatment though, girls tend to do that a lot, saying things like "I want to hear something cute" or "He treats her like a princess, I want you to do the same thing". If we haven't done it yet, it's probably because we haven't thought about what to do yet, that we're too shy to do it, or you just flat out don't deserve it. If we get an idea, build up the courrage to do it, and you deserve that treatment, you'll get it, untill then. By all means, don't ask for it, even if it's not dirrectly, we know it's what you're asking for.

I love the mistaken belief that women should just sit there and contribute nothing to a relationship while the man does all these "cute" things like buying her flowers every so often or taking her out to do things she likes... Are you a housewife, raising the children and generally working your ass off? No? Then you aren't doing anything to deserve treatment like that.

Who honestly married thinking that their life will be like a disney movie? I married my husband because I loved him and he loved me, end story. However my husband isn't much of a romantic guy at all and I love romantic stuff. Sometimes I have to plan everything (dinner, movie etc) just to get the romance out of him. But there are times that he does surprise me with flowers (hell, a week ago he gave me roses for the heck of it) or other little treats. So it just depends on the person really. Also, my husband love video games and send hours just playing. I don't care, I mean I knew he loved it and I wasn't going to change it, instead I joined him.

My boyfriend treats me right and I don't have big boobs. If that's what he wants you should leave, because everyone has a preference, and it's not always big breasts. All body types are preferred by one person or another. Just because you don't look like your friend at work doesn't mean that you aren't beautiful and that you can't be treated right. It shouldn't be your looks that determine how you're treated in the first place. If that's his terminology, then that's just another reason to find another man. Maybe the next one will suit YOUR preferences. Seems like neither of you are happy with how the relationship is working to me personally, but this is just my opinion.
