Today, I was summoned to the bathroom by my three-year-old, who still needs help cleaning up sometimes. When I walked in, he looked so happy and proud as he pointed to the trash can saying, "Look at my big poop!". Buying a new trash can tomorrow. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Good job
Today, the little boy I nanny for finally stood up and went 'pee-pee on the potty'. I started cheering and clapping, making a big deal out of it. I flushed while he smiled proudly and pooped on the floor. FML
Today, one of the kids at the daycare center I work at was so excited at the fact that his constipation was over, he felt the need to bring me his fecal matter, in his hands, to show me. Guess who had to clean up the aftermath. FML
Pride and joy
Today, my 3-year-old came to me very excited because he had gone to the bathroom by himself for the first time. What he did not tell me was that he had shit on the floor, and when I went into the bathroom to check, I slipped on a turd and knocked myself out on the sink. FML
Charming...
Today, my toddler is starting to realize when she has a dirty diaper. How do I know? She walked up to me with a shit covered hand, saying "Poop Mommy! Poop!!" FML
Today, I was cleaning the litter box and found a large clump. I later found my 3-year-old peeing there instead of in the toilet. FML
Today, my 3-year-old missed the toilet. In the time it took me to get paper towel to clean it up, my one-year-old decided it was the perfect puddle to play in. FML
Surprise!
Today, I was working at my day-camp, and one of my little boys told me he had to show me something important. He proudly showed me that he'd crapped his pants. I had to wipe his ass clean. FML
A little treat
Today, the 4 year-old I was babysitting came up to me all happy, saying she went to the bathroom like a "big girl." Knowing she was just potty trained, I asked if she'd remembered to flush. Looking at me confused, she said, "But it's in my room." FML
Today, while the kid I was babysitting was in the bathroom, he called to me "I need some help in here." Worried I ran to the bathroom and asked him what was wrong. He needed me to wipe his butt. As if that weren't gross enough, just as my hand was under his butt, he pooped again and laughed. FML
Pride and joy
Today, my toddler finally used the potty for the first time. I was so excited, I FaceTimed my mom to show her. My kid then proudly picked up the potty bowl and dumped it on my lap. FML

My nephew pooped on the floor, didn't have to buy a new house. Wash it? Or do you brush your teeth with your trash bin?

You don't have a bin liner in your bathroom bin?

Plus, aren't parents used to poop? How hard would that be to clean.

What kind of crazy materialistic view on the world do you have that you're going to purchase a new bin rather than just cleaning it? It's just poop.

Kids will be kids.

You can't just clean it out? Why waste money on a new one?

Probably wanted a new one and needed something to excuse the excessive spending when her hubby asks.

From the username - BadDad, I believe this is the hubby who posted this not the wife. Could also explain why first instinct is to buy another instead of to wash the bin?

Have u heard of Lysol?

And if you don't think Lysol is enough. There is always Clorox to 'bleach it away'.

be happy for the kid. He did this without any help. boost his self confidence and the next 1 will be in the toilet. as for the bin why dnt you just change the bin liner or just wash the bin?

At least he made a good effort, it sucks a bit because it's wasted money, but I guess one should always count with money going out of the window when you're getting kids. Anyway, I wish you and your kiddo the best of luck!

I agree except for the money part. Mom is the wasteful one here. There really is no reason the throw things out when they an be cleaned up and reused.
