Today, I was sitting on a train, doing homework for my programming class, when a man sat in the seat next to me. He must have been a programmer too, because he spent the next few hours staring at my screen and laughing whenever I made a mistake. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Missing
Today, I was on a business trip with a coworker. We had to wait for the train, so I decided to browse a store in the train station while he waited outside. I then got a message on my phone, from my co-worker saying, "You are somewhere on this train, right?" FML
Today, I went to my Calculus lecture, one of a class of 200 people. As I looked down I noticed that a guy a few rows in front of me was on Facebook. When I took a closer look, I noticed he was viewing my profile. He stalked the profile for a full 45 minutes. I have never met this guy in my life. FML
Today, I got an e-mail from my seminar tutor asking why I wasn't in class. I was sitting next to him. FML
Unflattered
Today, I was at the airport walking around, killing time. There was a man about twenty years older than me who kept on eyeballing me, and it really wasn't flattering. I get on the plane and guess who I get to sit next to. FML
Today, I was at the library using a computer to order a package. A man sat down next to me mumbling to himself while staring at me. As I got up to go to the printer, he pointed at me and screamed, "I will burn you alive and enjoy it!" All of my info including my address was still on the computer screen. FML
Today, I had six long hours with the same math teacher. To get home, I travel by bus. Guess who sat down next to me for the whole trip. FML
Sink-dodger alert!
Today, I went to the bathroom to take a piss. While washing my hands, I heard someone taking a large dump in one of the stalls. When he was finished, he left the bathroom without washing his hands. Turns out he was the IT guy I called to fix my computer. He sat down on my chair and used my keyboard. FML
Today, I went on a busy train. I packed myself in close to a very good looking woman and, too scared to say anything, looked out the window. After feeling a hand on my ass, I assumed it was her. To not ruin the moment, I didn't look back. After a few stops, I looked back. It was an old man. FML
It's not me
Today, I was sitting in a train when the old lady sitting next to me started staring at me. I asked her if she was OK, and she exclaimed, "Willy! It's you! Where have you been all this time?" The entire train trip went like this. FML
Today, as I caught the train home, a woman got on and sat on the only available seat next to me. We got talking and as the train approached the next station, she said that this was her stop and she had to go. She exited the train and I turn to see her enter the compartment behind me. FML

You were on the train for a whole hour?
Rowdey 10
Well, seeing as the FML says he was, yes.

In New York city, you can be on a train for a few hours, so an hour is really not bad. I wish some of my destinations were just an hour. But Op spent a few hours on the train, not just 1. & Op, you should have just looked at him, and said, "If it's so easy, why don't you tell me the right way to do it?" Free homework help!!! He'll feel compelled to show you up, and you'll get your work done faster... If he's any good. (:

It takes 6 hours on the train for me to come home from university... 1 hour isn't too bad!
sux4u121 10
In the FML it actually says "a few hours" not one hour

The same kind of thing happened to me in class a few weeks ago. Another student walked by my computer, and loudly told his friend how bad of a job I was doing. His friend then just had to check it out for himself.

Actually FML says 'a few hours', so 'an' hour is wrong regardless.

50- The first two people that said that were enough, thank you.

it also could be like an inter-city train… maybe even across the country… doesn't specify really
pradip 26
Not just a hour, it's hours. OP staring at a book or laptop for hours on a train will ruin your eye, unless your trains are extra smooth without vibrations.

Hai guize, he wuz on the trane for a few hourz, not just 1! LOLOLZ

If you allow people to treat you badly, they will always treat you badly. Perhaps it is time to get more assertive and tell rude people to sod off!!

Such foul language from such an adorable kitten.. :p

No no, everyone is approaching this wrong. Let him continue to laugh, and consider it him lending his professional expertise towards quality control on your assignment. He is basically making it impossible for you not to notice errors, so the joke is kinda on him considering your grade should be better for it.
pradip 26
His reply would be. "I can't, I'm a software tester my job is to make the lives of programmers miserable."

Well, I'm sitting here on the train writing comments while a menacing person is watching everything I tybfzsdjklbgvfsdhvgsibgfuisdbv

Lol what's so wrong with having fun at someone's expense
pedosmurf 7
A lot it's pretty ****** maybe if he knew the guy, but a random person uncalled for. Maybe and just maybe if it was a troll old person it would be funny
iwadasn 33
8, do you usually sit down next to strangers and mock them whenever you take the train?
LollipopDragon 4
If he was an old guy, he could get away with it no problem. They have all the fun.
tehcyberman 9
There's a difference. Like others said, it's a jackass move to do that to a random stranger. But in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with finding humor at the expense of someone else, as long as you don't do it in front of them, like this guy is.
pedosmurf 7
That's rude move seats?
killtin 2
Please use commas. On my first read I couldn't explain what you were trying to get across.
pedosmurf 7
Alright, my bad. That's rude, move seats? ;)

Hours? You should've moved if it was bothering you. And hey, think of it positively, at least you were aware of your mistakes :)
EagorLuvsBigFoot 8
I read your profile and am quite I big hunger games fan too, as you can see :) I know that K x P equals Katniss and Peeta and A x F equals Annie and Finnick, but who are C and C? Sorry it's just really bugging me :P
gummybear1996 13
I think c and c is Cato and Clove, I could be wrong though

I would be grateful if I were you. He's like free spellcheck...for programming.
unknown_user5566 27
I would've asked the guy for help, then. May as well get a free tutoring session if the guy thinks he's so smart.
herpderpherpderp 13
hell, OP while you're at it charge him for the lesson as well.
DogsPaw 16
Charge the person who helps you?

I'm pretty sure 73 knows how to spell "programmer." It looked to me as it were a simple typo. There's no need to be an asshole about it.
gmc_blossom 21
Speaking of typos... *as if it were.

I wonder if that guy was trained to be a jackass.
