Today, I went to my Calculus lecture, one of a class of 200 people. As I looked down I noticed that a guy a few rows in front of me was on Facebook. When I took a closer look, I noticed he was viewing my profile. He stalked the profile for a full 45 minutes. I have never met this guy in my life. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Caught in the act
Today, I was on the computer in the library on campus. I was Facebook-stalking a really cute girl that I often see on campus. As I'm looking at her profile pictures, I turn around and the girl is standing right behind me. She gave me a disgusted look and walked off. FML
Freaky and scary
Today, I received a message from a weird guy that's been stalking me online. Apparently, he travelled 4 hours last weekend to go to the same event as me, just to stare at me. He knew a LOT of details. He never spoke to me because that would "have been weird". I don't know what he looks like, so didn't recognise him. FML
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Today, I saw a girl on the subway that I knew so I started waving frantically. She gave me a really weird expression and moved quickly away from me. Then I realised that I only knew her because I had stalked her Facebook once. FML
Today, at college, I found a lanyard with some keys and a YMCA member's card attached. Hoping to find contact details, I googled the name on the back of the card, just in time for him to return and see me looking through his Facebook profile like some kind of stalker. FML
Today, on my way to work, I was checking my hair in the semi-reflective window of an office building. I suddenly realized that the guy I had a one-night stand with last week was standing on the other side, looking confused. He now genuinely believes that I am stalking him. FML
Today, a cute guy I recognized from one of my classes messaged me on a dating site. He wanted help with homework. FML
Pretty mean
Today, I decided to check out my school's quarterback's Twitter, since we have a class together. He wrote, "Dear girl in front of me, I thought you were pretty until you turned around." It was funny, until I realized the timestamp was when we have class together, and I sit in front of him. FML
Today, I took a picture of myself and put it on Facebook. After I did so, I realized that in the background, you can see my crush's Facebook page up on my laptop. He tagged himself. FML
Creeper alert!
Today, I made a new friend at my college campus, which was great, until I added him on Facebook and he started liking posts from 3 years ago, asking if he could be my "dirty little secret" because he knows that I have a boyfriend. FML
Kinda sus
Today, I decided to reach out to someone I'd met randomly. I found them on social media and sent them a message. After telling my SO, he pointed out that that was stalking. I'm a creep now. FML

You were creeping on him and discovered him creeping on you? Seems like a fair exchange to me.

I don't really think she was creeping, she just noticed he was one fb, and then recognized her pictures on there

Go up to him and say, "Hey, I don't think I've ever seen you before, my names _____. Oh wait, I guess you already knew that." Point at his phone, then walk away.

Exactly, why should someone be creeped about someone creeping on them when they're creeping on the person creeping on them? Well the fact they've never met does make it kinda weird...

# 34 to recognize your Facebook picture a few rows ahead of you in the middle of a class = you creeping.

she could be far sighted? I used to have bad ass eye sight and could read stuff from far away

stop trying to defend her, we know she was creeping as well and we insist to say so because deep inside we all know what that guy goes through
maskedman 9
I actually think she was being creepier than that guy was being. She put up a facebook profile on the Internet in order for people to look at it. I don't think that guy intended for people to spy on his phone or computer.

I AGREE!!

84, 90, 96- school is not a place to flirt, but loads of students do. a jam jar is for jam, but i can store money in there. it's called multipurposing. people flirt anywhere IRL, why not online. you could say that pic's fake, but it looks pretty genuine to me. of course, you can never be 100% sure, but psychology studies found that not many people actually fake their profile pictures. however, that was only on facebook, so it's not generalisable so you may have a point. but I don't think many people put fake pictures. unless it's obviously fake, like a model. there may be a few perverts that put fake pictures , but I don't think they are the majority.

don't get jealous ,because no one wants your ugly ass

Introduce yourself, see if he's interested in you in a good way or just a scary stalker creep.
ImaginaryFoe 1
He might not be interested in her at all. He might be reading someone else's comments/photos on her page. OP, someone looking at your public internet profile doesn't make him a stalker. I hate it when people toss that term around. Don't make it public if you don't want people to see it. Stop spying on people and pay attention in class. YDI

I agree 69 damn anti-flood
dexter341 0
Well who would be looking at one profile for 45 minutes

only attention ****** make their facebook profiles public. ydi
CakeSlicer 0
thats mean!
aliaskis 3
5 is right. YDI for making your FB stalk-able. Set your information to viewable by friends only, unless your goal is to become another young woman missing from her college campus.
tmarie21 0
agree with 5 & 26
Sushimomo 0
They could have mutual friends. I set my profile public, apart from my wall, for friends of friends.

Vball6 19
Some people.... Its not "young love."
FantasticFin 0
not all people who make their profile public are attention ****** you prude.
ImaginaryFoe 1
You're right. Some are too stupid to know they can change the privacy setting. BTW, how does calling someone an attention ***** make one a prude?
hghiPigh 0
oh great, another attention *****. don't be offended. just change your settings to private and you won't be a ho no mo
babydoll13211 0
agreed

least he wasn't fappin it... then it'd be transfer time
XxAngel77xX 0
How do you know he WASNT fapping it? OP never said otherwise...
starile 20
OP would definitely mention it as part of the FML if she noticed him jacking off to her profile.
Acywhy 10
Agreed!! *shudders* I go to a women's college but jegus there are fappers in class.... And stalkers (Spanish class is great for this.) I like to sit there and watch everyone try to find my profile. No one has my account or email so it's invisible... they've spent two years looking already. One found my Cosplay account but that one doesn't count.
xgetxbentx 13
