Today, I was really stressed, so I tried to let it out by crying. It lasted about 30 seconds, and I was making fun of myself the whole time. Even my subconscious thinks I'm pathetic. FML

Crying isn't your thing obviously. Try working out :)

Or sleeping. I ******* love sleeping

Crying can be therapeutic, but staring yourself down in the mirror isn't the way to go about it. Find a dark room and try again

Or just drugs...

57: I like that idea, that's smart. Haha.

Crying to relieve stress does not mean you're pathetic! It is a natural de-stressing mechanism but it doesn't work for everyone.

Hitting something would probably be better.

Sometimes it's just better to cry, but try running, listening to music, or just talking to someone you trust.

Well, unless you actually heard subconscious voices telling you that you're pathetic, then don't worry too much.... Wimp. Stop crying. Leave me alone, it's alright to cry... Stop or I'll take over and give you something to cry about..... Hey, anyone else think the red crayons taste best???

Omg i do that too. I cant cry or talk about my feelings unless its anger

Pathetic? What you did there sounds like an excellent way to exhaust all the negative energy one accumulates throughout the average work day. I'd hypothetize the issue not being that you find yourself awkward or pathetic, but rather in an unfamiliar situation and way of expression. Hence, I tag neither.

Tell your subconscious to look in the mirror!

Real men don't cry.

Real men DO cry. It's a perfectly healthy and normal response to something upsetting. If you're male and you refuse to cry because you think someone's going to judge you, you have a problem on your hands. If people DO make fun of you for it, don't hang out with them, as cliche as that sounds.

In older times it was a sign of respect and strength for a man to cry. If his family had been killed and he didn't shed a tear, he was considered a heartless bastard not worth respect.

There's nothing wrong or pathetic about crying. If that doesn't work, try punching a pillow or a boxing bag.
