Today, I went to the ER due to intense headaches. My partner was unable to go with me so he called his father to drive me. My father-in-law now knows that every time I orgasm my head feels like it will explode. He also knows that it happened 4 times last week. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went to the hospital emergency room to visit my boyfriend who had badly sliced his leg open. It ended with me being admitted with a possible head trauma, after hitting my head on the wall and floor as I collapsed at the sight of his wound. FML
Today, I had to drive the guy I've been seeing for the past few months to the emergency room. So that he could witness the birth of his newest child. FML
Rollercoaster ride of emotions
Today, I went to my dad's workplace because my sister was there and I wanted to see my newborn niece. I was overjoyed until my dad came up to me. It had apparently been pretty hectic for the past week, because he was on the verge of another stress-induced heart attack. Yes, another. We had to help him outside. FML
Nightmare mode
Today, I woke up with a pounding headache. My wife tells me that last night I woke up from a nightmare, screaming, tried to run away, and knocked myself out running headfirst into the bedroom wall. So she put me back to bed and went back to sleep. FML
Today, I finally went to the hospital for a week-long migraine. A few Saturdays ago I went to the park to play frisbee with my friends and coworkers. While climbing a fence, I fell and hit my head twice. Turns out I have a severe concussion and a swollen brain. FML
Today, I begged my husband to take me to the ER cause my stomach hurt so bad I thought I was gonna die. He told me to go sit on the toilet and stop being a drama queen. I drove myself to the hospital just in time for my appendix to burst. I almost died because my husband was busy playing Xbox. FML
Today, the crush I've had for months finally came over to my place for the first time. It didn't last long however, as I suddenly had to go to the ER for severe testicular pain. FML
Today, I went to the emergency room. Apparently, when your ex-girlfriend hits you in the nuts with a bat, it can do some damage. FML
Ironic
Today, on my way out to get salt for the driveway, I fell and split my head. I'm now sitting in the ER waiting room. FML
Night terrors
Today, I woke up with a headache and a bruised forehead after my husband full-force elbowed me in the head last night in his sleep. It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact he has zero memory of doing it. FML

You didn't have to tell him. Or, going the other way, you didn't have to agree to have him with you when the doctor explained the problem to you.

You said “to drive you.” You could have had him leave or step out of the room when you talked to the doctor. Look into intracranial hypertension though.

So your partner could have sex with you but then was suddenly too busy to take you to the hospital?

There could be a number of reasons they couldn't go. Don't get all judgey when you don't know enough to form an opinion.

Some places of work do not allow people to leave for such things (disgracefully) or he could have been away somewhere for some reason. There are myriad reasons he could not be there.

OP’s partner could be vision impaired or doesn’t have a license - although I’m very aware that either situation doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

I’ll bet that dad who wanted his boy to suck a dick like a champ is jealous. This guy’s boy buttfucks like a champ!

Richard Pencil - I read the post several times and there is nothing in the post that sways me either way about OP’s gender. Am I dense? You are obviously a homophobe

If you look at the profile of OP it probably says male. The app automatically assumes you're male unless you change it manually.

You have a smartphone. Go to whatever "store" you use and install Uber. Problem solved AND you're more independent now. Yay for us women!

If OP was a minor, the adult who accommodated him to the ED may act as a guardian until the actual guardian arrives, so the adult must be at his side at all times. However, this is clearly not the case in this situation, so the father-in-law had no right to know about the diagnosis or treatment. If someone provided him with the information without the OP's consent, this will be considered as a breach of confidentiality, which should be taken seriously with patient relations.
