Red flag

Today, the man I've liked for so long asked me out on a date. Three years ago I fell for him and he denied me unless I "lost 100lbs” Now I've lost about 85lbs (not because of him, but for myself) and he wants to give me the time of day. I still like him, but I feel like I have to watch my weight to keep him if I say “Yes.” FML

Target goals

Today, I officially completed my weight loss journey, only for my wife, who'd previously threatened to divorce me if I didn't lose weight, to tell me that she realized she liked me better when I was fat and that "you don't know what you have until it's gone." FML

While this is pretty horrible, it leads me to question are you big enough to compromise your health? From the tone of the FML, I doubt you're obese, but now I'm curious since your 'fiancé' wants you to shed pounds all of a sudden when he must have been fine with you before?
