Today, I was involved in a wreck. How quickly did the police arrive at the scene? Very quickly, considering he was the one who rear-ended me at a red light. FML

Today, I got rear ended. The guy flashed his lights at me to pull over, so I pulled into the side of the road. He drove away. FML
Today, I was driving to work and stopped at a stop light. A full 2 or 3 seconds passed, followed by a car rear-ending me. The idiot driving it got out and gave me hell, calling me a maniac because I braked "too quickly" and didn't give him a chance to react. FML
Today, I was driving home when a guy crashed into me from behind. I got out of my car and told him that I was going to call the cops. He then asked me if we could move to a corner because we were blocking the way, so we then got back in to move. I looked in the mirror to see him driving off. FML
Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML
Today, I rear-ended a car. While we were waiting for the police, we made small talk, at which point I learned that he was an attorney. FML
Today, I was feeling super nervous about driving because I had my first accident the day before. As I stopped at a red light, I got rear-ended. FML

Today, I was in a car accident. After screaming at the woman for running into me, I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving away, I was staring her down when I ended up rear-ending the person in front of me. FML
Today, while driving, I got a call on my cell phone. Trying to be safe and avoid an accident, I pulled into the nearest parking lot before answering. While I was turning in to park, someone rear-ended me. FML
Today, I was speeding a little on the highway. I thought I saw a police car, so I slammed on my brakes, causing the person behind me to rear end me. The "police car" I saw was just a broken down car on the side of the road. FML

Yeah I dont really understand why this is an FML other than the fact that you have a hit car. Either way its the cops fault..95% fender benders are considered the person in the back's fault according to a survey I just made up for this statement. You'll be fine.

Do not sign anything. Call an attorney. NOW. IANAL, but typically when you are rear ended, you are not at fault unless the other party can prove gross negligence. Being police officers, their word will be taken as fact in a court of law. You need to get an attorney immediately to protect yourself.

I'm pretty sure their insurance going up because of a collision (their fault or not) makes it a big deal. Insurance is expensive as hell man

Were there any eye witnesses? At any rate, check to see the laws in your area about being hit from the rear. I know Florida has a No-Fault Law, wherein you are not at fault for any collision where the other driver strikes you from the rear.
