Today, I was excited to see my ex-girlfriend. We had broken up while I was in Iraq and I wanted to try to get her back. I spent my first day back looking for a place to live while her and her new boyfriend got it on as I slept. I had chosen that apartment for us and paid for that bed. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Moving on
Today, I went to my ex-girlfriend's house to bring her her stuff back. We broke up earlier this week after a two year relationship, and I'd hoped she would've realized her mistake and ask me to stay for a bit and talk. I rang the doorbell and her new boyfriend opened the door. FML
Today, after several years spent hung up on my ex, I was finally moving on. I was on a date with my new boyfriend when my ex walked past us. He broke down crying, got on his knees, and begged me to come back. FML
Today, my ex-girlfriend moved out. I came back to a sparsely furnished home; she'd even taken the shower head, my beard trimmer, and the soap from the bathroom. FML
Today, I agreed to meet my ex-girlfriend at our favorite restaurant with my hopes high. She just wanted me to meet her new boyfriend. FML
Oh no, oh no no no
Today, I got home and noticed people were looking at my next-door neighbor's house that's for rent. Peering closer, I realized my ex-boyfriend and the girl he cheated on me with a few months ago were inside. After they left, the "For Rent" sign came down. I've got new neighbors. FML
Today, I saw my ex-girlfriend. She dumped me because she was moving to Wyoming. I guess Wyoming is code for my friend's apartment. FML
Today, I met the girl who dumped me because the distance between us was too great. We're in the same city again. She's now dating a Marine in Iraq. FML
Dodge
Today, a girl I knew in high school who now lives out of state came to town to visit and stay over. We've been talking albeit romantically for the past few months. Not thirty minutes after we arrived at my place from the airport, her ex-boyfriend came by and she hopped in his car. I haven't heard from her since. FML
Never cross the streams
Today, I drove my ex-boyfriend home from dropping his car at the garage for new tires. On the way, I drove past my house where my boyfriend was sitting in the driveway ready to surprise me. My boyfriend watched us drive by. FML
Today, I got to sleep in the same bed as the love of my life...and her new boyfriend. FML

She could at least have had the consideration to not **** her boyfriend while he was in the apartment.

Well go in the bed with them! I'm sure your ex will like to have a threesome, or better yet, a three-hundred some >: D

For being someone in the military, your confidence is surely lacking. If you PAY/PAID for the apartment...tell the dude to gtfo. If she paid half, tell them to GTFO off your bed.

I read " wanted to try and get her back." Does that mean that you broke up with her trying to do something noble so she wouldn't end up in heartache in case something tragic happened? If that's the case then YDI, most women understand before hand if they are dating someone in the military that this is a possible situation. They wouldn't be with you if they didn't understand this. Maybe it's truly your fault for thinking your ex would romantically run back to you like in the movies. This isn't Pearl Harbor, get a real life. And I am not trying to offend anyone in the military. I have family members and numerous amounts of friends in the military, so I understand that it could be her fault, but it could be yours. And did you ever think to call her that you were coming home to the apartment you paid for? Communication is key so you don't end up in this situation.

Okay. You're a dumbass. I'm going to put that out there. Why didn't you just stay at a hotel or something? Or with friends? I'm sure you have friends that live on base, and are married, so you can stay at their houses. Why would you ever put yourself through that kind of hell? :/ But be thankful that she's out of your life.

Check it Bro, you should have started kicking some ass right there, or kicked their asses out! Afterall it's your place, you paid for it! I have the utmost respect for you guys, and it breaks my heart to hear of this crap happening all the time. I gotta say though-You wouldnt let a group of hajis do anything to you or your brothers, so why would you let some girl (Who proved she aint worth a damn) run all over you like this? Put your foot down Bro.

it's really not that hard to understand people. he came back from iraq, he knew him and his girlfriend were already broken up but they probably lived together beforehand so he planned on staying in THEIR house while he looked for a new one. he spent his first day back looking for places to live, and THAT NIGHT, as he tried to sleep, he heard them...not that hard :/

man, let it go. u don't own her, the apt or the bed anymore. she moved on, and u shouldn't have even thought to stay there, even temporarily. a motel would have been a better option. i am not a prude, but the next time u wanna set up house with a chic, marry her. at least you could divide the stuff up after the divorce.

Baby, don't stress her. She wouldn't make a good military wife anyway. Find you somebody who can keep their legs closed and values you.
