Today, I went to my ex-girlfriend's house to bring her her stuff back. We broke up earlier this week after a two year relationship, and I'd hoped she would've realized her mistake and ask me to stay for a bit and talk. I rang the doorbell and her new boyfriend opened the door. FML

Today, I ran into an old friend of mine at the store. All was going fine, until she showed me her new fiancé. My now ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, I was excited to see my ex-girlfriend. We had broken up while I was in Iraq and I wanted to try to get her back. I spent my first day back looking for a place to live while her and her new boyfriend got it on as I slept. I had chosen that apartment for us and paid for that bed. FML
Today, I went through the stuff that I'd left at my ex’s place and started unpacking it. I found a pair of another girl's panties. We broke up a little over a week ago. FML
Today, my jerk of an ex messaged to apologize for dumping me two weeks ago. I took the high road and was overtly polite and friendly, hoping to end things civil. Our conversation ended when he casually mentioned he is moving in with his new girlfriend. FML
Today, my ex-girlfriend broke up with me once again after getting back together for two weeks. Just two weeks earlier, I was seeing a girl. I'd ended things with her to mend things with my ex. I hit the girl up on Facebook to ask her out. She now has a boyfriend. FML

#26, then again, it could very well be the fact she was hanging around a particular boy too much (like you know, being all touchy and flirty) and I'm sure OP had a good reason to break off a 2 year relationship. The fact she got a boyfriend less than a few days after so long a relationship must've meant she didn't care much for the break up anyways, so I don't see how OP is at fault for doing what he saw as right

was it really a boyfriend though? it was probably someone she was using to get over you... and what do you mean she would realize her mistake? you broke up with her! either way sounds like you made the right decision...just hang in there you'll meet the right girl soon enough :)
