Today, I was at a party. The girl I'm madly in love with referred to me as her 'Gay Friend.' She refused to kiss me in Spin-the-Bottle as 'She didn't want to do anything with anyone that night'. She then made out, and slept with, my 'best friend' whom she had never met before. FML

Today, I was drunk at a party and confessed my love for my crush and told her how I felt. According to my friends, I made out with another girl not long after my confession. FML
Today, I went to a party where I met an amazing guy. After having great conversation all night and what I thought was a serious connection, I leaned in to kiss him. He screamed, forcefully pushed my face away with his hand, and said he was gay. FML
Today, I went to my BFF's 16th birthday party. As I arrived, a VERY cute (and familiar looking) boy said to me, "You look hot! Wanna kiss?" I've made out at parties before so I agreed. As we did, I recognized my pal as a slightly butch, if pretty, GIRL I know. Worst part - her kisses are better than my boyfriend's. Am I gay now? FML
Today, I was at a party and spent the whole night bragging to my friends about how I thought this girl was totally into me. As we were leaving, we saw the same girl making out with my ex. FML
Today, I was at a friend's house; she left the room for a few minutes. Her dad then put me in a headlock and told me that I'd, "better treat his daughter right if I ever wanted to walk again," because she's in love with me. I'm a gay guy, and she knows. FML
Today, my best friend who I have been secretly in love with forever, was ranting about her ex-girlfriend. Then she said : "If only you were gay, we'd be perfect for each other." I took the chance to tell her I was. She responded : "Well, I'm still not attracted to you though." FML
Today, I organized a party, invited a girl I've been secretly in love with for years, as well as a friend of mine who brought along an unknown mate of his. The party was fine, although the unknown mate threw up all over the floor. Now, the girl is dating that unknown mate and is in love with him. FML
Today, the girl I thought I was dating introduced me to her boyfriend. We've gone on dates and have slept in the same bed, but it turns out she thought I was her gay best friend and was planning to introduce me to her boyfriend's brother. FML
Today, it was my best friend's wedding. The night ended with her in tears outside her hotel suite, where she confessed that she has a serious crush on me. I have a serious crush on her too. We're both straight women. I'm really confused. FML

Yeah, FYL. Must be depressing. Look on the bright side. At least you found out what she's like this way. I wonder how many other guys she slept with right after meeting them. Ew. And if your 'best friend' knew you were 'madly in love' with her, then at least you are now more enlightened as to his loyalty. This might just give you a +1 to your wisdom. I hope you have better luck in your future romantic endeavors.

I've seen guys like you back in my high school years and these guys didn't know the difference between lightly flirting and overdoing it to the point of being creepy. That really sucks, you're better off without the both of them. I don't know how people can say YDI to that one... Being referred to as her "Gay friend" when you love this girl, that's harsh enough. And why was she playing Spin-the-bottle in the first place, if she didn't want to do anything with anyone? Seems stupid. And I'm guessing it must've hurt to find out what happened with your best friend. That's majorly crushing!

Does she know you are 'madly in love' with her? Does she not have the right to be interested in other people than just you? She's a bitch for lying like that and not just telling you outright that shes not into you. I mean, it sucks to be rejected so i am sorry about that, especially when the guy she turns out to be interested in is your friend. Sounds like you can do better though, find someone who IS interested in you- Easier said than done though, right? Maybe her hurting you like this will make it easier?
