Today, I missed my bus, so I walked home in the rain from school, only to realize my mom had been following me the whole time in the car, laughing her ass off. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I missed my bus by a minute. I called up my step-dad asking him if he could drive me because I had a test first period. After about calling him twenty times, and him not picking up, I saw him drive by the bus stop, pointing at me and laughing hysterically. FML
Soaking
Today, I had to walk home in the rain because my mom didn't want to get her new car wet. FML
Today, I had to walk home from school in the rain, because my mom "didn't have a car to pick me up in". But when I got home, the car had magically appeared. Just great. FML
Today, I missed my bus. I had to ride my bike 2 miles. Once I left, some jerk nearly hit me. I flipped him off and shouted obsceneties. It was my dad, offering me a ride. He left. FML
We meet again
Today, I missed my bus to school, so I took my bike. The bus that I missed ignored a stop sign on its way back, making me crash into it. FML
Cruel driver
Today, I was late for class and I had to run to catch my bus, which only stops near our house twice a day. I made it to the doors just as they closed, and the bus drove away… with my sweaty reflection staring back at me in the moving bus door window. FML
Today, I noticed a car following me all the way to my house. It was dark so I got really nervous and called the police. The person got out of the car. It was my mom. FML
The worst
Today, the bus came to pick up my daughter to take her to kindergarten. When it honked, I opened the door for her to let her run out to it. Halfway there, she tripped and started crying. I couldn't run out because I was still in my underwear. Now her bus thinks I'm the worst mom ever. FML
Stop! Thief!
Today, during my work shift, my car got stolen and I had to walk home on the rain. While I was walking home, my stolen car drove by. FML
Today, I took the bus home after visiting a friend. Standing in front of my house, I realized that I had forgotten my keys. They were still in my car, which I had parked at my friend's place and forgotten. FML

What kind of mother sees her child miss the bus and follows him or her while the poor kid is walking home in the rain and laughs her ass off? We are back to people doing horrible things to their loved ones (or at least those they are supposed to love) and thinking it is funny. If I see someone I know (note to those of you with shitty reading comprehension skills, I said PEOPLE I KNOW not RANDOM STRANGERS) stranded somewhere I always pick them up. It would never even occur to me to leave them, much less follow and laugh at them as they trudged in the rain. That is just the decent thing to do, plain and simple. What a horrible person the OP's mom is.

The ground is so saturated in New Jersey that all additional rainwater is flooding everything. NJ is definitely NOT lucky. Mother nature sucks at socialism.
