Today, I was meeting my sister's fiancé. I went to an internet cafe before I went to her house for dinner with them. I was on a computer and there was this really attractive man next to me. I was flirting with him and we exchanged numbers. Turns out, he is my sister's fiancé. FML
Today, I found out that my fiancé's sister, who only got engaged a couple of months ago, is getting married before us. I wouldn't have a problem with this if she wasn't planning her wedding to be exactly like ours will be. FML
Today, my brother had his fiancée over to meet the whole family. We were having a great time with her, and my mother gushed to her that she was like the daughter she never had. I'm her daughter. FML
Today, I met my wife's other husband. FML
Today, I introduced my boyfriend to my sister, but they already knew each other from my sister's work. She's an exotic dancer. FML
Today, I discovered my sister's fiance's name multiple times in the guestbooks of the hotel I work at, each time with a different woman, so I told her and she dumped him. It turns out it was a guy who had the same name, but it wasn't him. He won't take her back, and now she hates me. I thought I was being a good sister. FML
Today, my sister announced that she had gotten engaged. I was happy for her until I found out she's marrying the guy who relentlessly bullied me all through high school. FML
Today, I saw my older sister for the first time in three years. We hadn't spoke since I found out that she was the woman my college boyfriend left me for. Unfortunately, our reunion was fueled by her two-year-old son's desire to meet his dad. My husband. FML

FYL OP that really sucks because, who expects to see their ex getting married? Or your sister getting engaged to you ex? No one really wants to see that either. And it really wouldn't be a good idea to ditch out on your sister. Maybe your ex is different, maybe he's not. All depends. Good luck and congrats to your sister!

I'd be happy for any of my ex boyfriends/girlfriends if they got married. not so much if it was to a sibling, but I don't have siblings. if they're both happy, why does it matter what You want? yes, that's a shitty situation. but it'd be like a friend dating your ex, you shouldn't care. They're you're ex for a reason, it didn't work out. but, it's far more shitty for the sister since, the ex is still an ass. but maybe, he'll end up changing during this. the parents, are probably going to be hard..
