Today, I had to show a new student around my school. Normally, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, but the student was my crazy, overly-attached ex. I transferred schools to get away from her in the first place. FML

Today, it's my first day at a new school. I transferred here halfway through the year to get away from a girl who bullies me. She's apparently bullied her mom into transferring her here as well. FML
Today, my psycho ex-girlfriend showed up at my new job to, "Keep an eye on me." The same ex-girlfriend who has been stalking me since we broke up. Two years ago. FML
Today, we were practicing figure drawing in art class. Our regular model didn't show up, so our teacher pulled someone out of study hall. And who did she pick? My ex-boyfriend, who stalked me after our breakup, which resulted in a nervous breakdown that put me in therapy. It was a long class. FML
Today, my ex-girlfriend from high school has been at her new college for a week. She broke up with me because she wanted to meet new people and leave high school behind her. That was understandable… until my best friend showed me texts from her trying to arrange to hook up with him when she’s back. FML
Today, I ran into an old friend of mine at the store. All was going fine, until she showed me her new fiancé. My now ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, in order to avoid seeing my ex-girlfriend in class, I changed my schedule for "personal reasons." Apparently she had the same idea and changed her schedule as well. We now have all the same classes together. Before, we had just two. FML
Today, I attended my college roommate's wedding. We were best friends for 4 years, but have only talked occasionally since graduation. I was looking forward to meeting her new husband, having heard so much about him during our conversations. Turns out she forgot to mention he's my ex. FML
Today, I helped move my current boyfriend into his new dorm room. This would've been fine if I didn't have to do this while avoiding eye contact with my ex-boyfriend, who just happens to be my boyfriend's new roommate. FML
Today, I was paired up with my long-term crush for a project. She introduced herself to me and asked if I was new this year. We've gone to the same school since kindergarten. FML
Today, I was hitting on a girl who was getting ready to walk into the same class as me. We were waiting outside the room, so I told her that I'd heard the professor for the course was a total bitch. We walked into the room. I sat down at a desk. She stood behind the podium. FML

Best to give them a heads-up immediately so that a report is not out-of-the-blue when the psycho side shows up to play! Let them know her history. It's not going to be the first, nor sadly the last, time they've dealt with psycho stalker exes. And a heads-up means they won't blow it off as a relationship disagreement when she does step over the line!

@VasNormandy a "civil protective order" doesn't really do anything. It gives the police (who respond to crimes, not prevent them) a (b.s.) reason to arrest someone. Aside from being unconstitutional they are effectively not worth the paper they are printed on. If a piece of paper told you you could no longer eat chocolate, would you quit eating it? No, you would say eff you and keep on eating those delicious Hershey bars. Same thing for a restraining order. If you really want to stalk someone you are going to do it, regardless of a pointless piece of paper singed by some I-wanna-be-cool-too judge. This is the problem with our legal system, America... people piss and moan about everything under the sun all the while we watch ourselves spinning down the drain to chaos
