Today, I had to google the definition of transsexual just to know what the hell my friends were talking about. I need to read a book. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Dyslexics untie!
Today, after finding out from my psychologist that I have a disability in reading comprehension, I tried to Google how to improve my reading skills. I couldn't understand what any of the articles were saying. FML
Today, I had to use a dictionary before I realized I was being flirted with. FML
Stumped
Today, a four-year-old said a word that I didn't know the meaning of. I had to look up the definition. FML
Trans women are women
Today, I'm dating a trans girl, who is also my best friend. She confessed to me long ago that she was born male, and that wasn't a big deal to me. The problem is that my family is constantly harassing her, because I should have been "with a real girl instead of a monster with severed genitals." FML
Acceptance
Today, I'm a closeted trans man, and I feel terrible every time my family calls me "she" or "girl". Help me, I don't know how to come out. FML
Today, I was staying over at a friend's house for the weekend while the rest of my family goes to Cuba. Her neighbor started hitting on me. As it turns out, "he" was actually born as a "she", and now I'm apparently a transphobic bitch for not being interested. Two more days to go. FML
Today, I finally convinced my mom to read Fight Club. As English isn't her first language, she occasionally asked me to translate some of the words. Her latest question: "What's a dildo?" FML
Cultural appropriation
Today, I had to explain to my mom what an 'LGBT ally' is and that it is entirely possible for a straight cis girl to support the LGBT movement. She thought I was a lesbian because I have rainbow colored and LGBT memorabilia. FML
Not a good sign
Today, I went to see my gynecologist. She was writing my symptoms up in my chart on her computer. After a little while, I noticed that she had a confused look on her face and was reading something instead. When I took a peek at the computer screen, I saw that she was Googling my symptoms. FML
So… about that…
Today, the moment I had been fearing for the past few days arrived: my mom asked me if I knew what a groyper was. I don't know what's worse, that I know what they are, or that trying explain the concept is so convoluted, she now thinks I'm making shit up. FML

Definition: Extremely confused individual who can't live with the truth that they are not the opposite sex.

Clearly OP does not read or watch the local/regional/national/international news. The LBGT groups are always trying to pick a fight. How does one not know this?

I bet you got all sorts of interesting picture results after googling that lol

Seriously? Wow, you are an idiot. How old are you? If you are under the age of 12, you are forgiven.

And how, exactly, does OP not knowing what a transsexual is make them an idiot?

To the dick cheese moderators: allow me to clarify my comment. The LGBT community is in the news all the time, fighting for their rights. How can anyone not know who they are? What part of this is provocative, trolling, or the pot calling the kettle a ****? Give me a break.

I love to read myself and If you're going to read a book I would highly recommend Gray Mountain by John Grisham. One of the best things that happen when reading is you get to feel like you're in the world of the story and it just feels exciting to turn to the next page. :)
