Today, I was with my four year-old daughter when we met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman I know. My daughter looked at her for a while and then asked, "Why doesn’t your skin fit your face?" FML
Today, I looked at my twelve-year-old daughter's test. One of the question was, "When is a good time to worry about your parents?" Her answer was, "When they take selfies, because selfies aren't made for old people." FML
Today, I drove alone for the first time since I passed my test. I kept getting weird looks from other drivers and got pulled over by a cop. He said I was clearly underage and was sure my license was fake. Almost half an hour later, he finally let me go. I hate having a baby-face. FML
Today, I had to explain to my friend that the world did not used to be black and white. It was just the pictures that were. She still doesn't believe me. She's eighteen. FML
Today, my 16-year-old daughter burned all her baby photos because they were unflattering and made her "look fat". FML

Did you try pointing out to her that the picture is going to be seen by every single person who ever looks at her ID, ever? It isn't just cops that have to check them; when she's old enough to go to bars she should still have that same license and she'll have to show it to every person who ever checks her ID at a bar or restaurant if she wants to get alcohol with her food, she'll have to show it every time a store clerk checks ID for a credit card purchase, she'll have to show it at every job she ever applies for, if she ever moves out... there are TONS more people who see your ID than just cops. :V :V
