Today, I had to crown the homecoming queen, a responsibility of mine as class president. It just happened to be that the queen is my ex-girlfriend that I still love, escorted by her new boyfriend. FML

Today, I was at a party and spent the whole night bragging to my friends about how I thought this girl was totally into me. As we were leaving, we saw the same girl making out with my ex. FML
Today, I was invited to a party to celebrate my ex-fiancée's recent engagement. The party is at work, because my ex is also my boss. Her new fiancée is some guy she met while on a "business trip" that happened while we were still engaged. FML

Today, I went to my ex-girlfriend's house to bring her her stuff back. We broke up earlier this week after a two year relationship, and I'd hoped she would've realized her mistake and ask me to stay for a bit and talk. I rang the doorbell and her new boyfriend opened the door. FML
Today, my girlfriend gave herself a graduation gift: a new boyfriend. FML
Today, my crush finally asked me to homecoming. I told my best friend, thinking she would be happy for me. Now we are in a big argument and she won't talk to me because I have a date and she doesn't. FML
Today, I ran into an old friend of mine at the store. All was going fine, until she showed me her new fiancé. My now ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, I was introduced to the girl my current boyfriend went out with while dating me. FML
Today, I went to my former high school's homecoming game. A classmate who I always had a crush on looks up and goes "Brian!", holding her arms out for a hug. I hug her and she seems a bit suprised but hugs back anyway. I get up and see another Brian from our class behind me. Shame. FML
Today, I found out that the girl I've been in love with for a long while got back together with her ex boyfriend because he had confessed his true feelings to her through a note in her locker. It was my note. FML

I'm well out of college and think everyone tearing the OP down over "high-school drama" is pretty thoughtless. It matters. That's a hard situation, OP, and we really don't know all the backstory. But if you have the backbone, you could have confidently put the crown on her head while saying, "You look beautiful."

You guys are dicks. Like seriously, so what if he's in high school? does that mean his feelings are any less important? Yes, he will get over it but right now it sucks and probably a big slap in the face and maybe people at school are rubbing in his face. Let him be sad and get over it himself, it'd be worse if he had no feelings for any girl and treated them like objects. He has feelings and let him feel them dammit.
