Today, my husband threw up on me during our wedding vows. FML
Today, I got a drunken call from my boyfriend, which consisted of him telling me that he, "does man things like fuck bitches and roll with hoes," and that I've been, "trying to turn him into a half-ass girly man," but, "that shit ain't right." Then he threw up. FML
Today, my son was so hungover at his wedding that he fell asleep standing at the altar and fell over onto his pregnant wife, knocking her backwards onto the floor. What should have been a happy occasion turned into a farce as we rushed her to hospital to check the baby was OK. FML
Today, I hired a babysitter, so my husband and I could spend some time together and work on our failing marriage. I dressed up. We went out. He got drunk and puked on me. FML
Today, I woke up a little after seven. I felt sick to my stomach because last night was my bachelor party and I drank more than I ever have before. I checked my phone, and I had received 42 missed calls. It was seven o'clock pm. Today was my wedding day. FML
Today, my fiancé got drunk at our wedding reception and announced to his and my family what we do in bed. And it was pretty detailed. FML
Today, I went to my fiance's cousin's wedding with him. I got drunk and danced like a stripper in front of his entire extended family, who I'd just met that day. FML
Today, at my bachelorette party, I got so wasted, I ended up giving my stripper a lap dance because he "wasn't doing it properly". There's photos. FML
Today, at our wedding, instead of saying "I do", my fiancé paused before saying, "I can't do this", stepped down from the altar and proposed to my maid of honor. When she obviously refused, he ran from the venue bawling. He's not returning my calls. FML

Wow. Why would you get that drunk the night before an important event? Even on a bachelor/hen party, you shouldn't drink so much you get that ill. Or have it before the night before if you must drink that much.

Maybe not all men 16, but it is her fiancé so maybe she should have anticipated it. Plus, I would want my new husband to be wide awake and ready to go for the wedding night, so I would definitely have suggested having it a couple nights before the wedding.

Cracker Jack prizes have great relationship insight. Seriously, usually the bachelor party is planned by the "best man" and he usually doesn't consult the bride. It was just stupid on the grooms part to get so shit faced. He's probably having second thoughts about the wedding.

There are valid reasons to have those parties the night before the wedding. In Mr. Doe's case, his friends and groomsmen were both local and far-flung. The key people he wanted to celebrate with weren't gathered till the day before the wedding (which is often the case with weekend weddings), so they partied after the rehearsal. I could trust him and our mutual male friends to keep him from over-indulging, though-- his groomsmen would've kicked his ass had this happened! That being said, there's no valid reason for getting so wasted. I agree with RPS-- big red flag there. =
