Today, I got sick in the airsick bag as my flight landed. The woman next to me, trying to make me feel better, says "Don't handle landings too well?" I responded "No, I actually fly fine, I'm just 8 weeks pregnant." She looked at my left hand, noticed no ring, rolled her eyes and looked away. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went on a long flight. I was fortunate enough to sit next to a great girl. However, she must have thought I was not so great, because she moved to the empty seat across the aisle. Next to my dad. Who then told stories about how I always get motion sickness on airplanes. I then threw up. FML
Mile high club
Today, on my airplane ride home, the woman next to me wasn't feeling too well. She pulled out the air sickness bag to throw up into and missed. Her vomit splattered all over the seat in front of her and all over me. We were both covered in puke. And that was only my first of two flights. FML
Timing is crucial in comedy
Today, I was on an airplane that was experiencing some turbulence. Feeling anxious, I reached over and grabbed my husband's hand for comfort. He then said, "Why are you scared of dying? You're not even pretty." FML
Today, I landed in Hawaii for my vacation. I have a really bad ear infection, and to top my day off, my girlfriend blurted out mid-flight that she thinks we're not going to work out. Aloha! FML
Banished
Today, I was on an early flight home after a night of drinking. I was sat in my seat when I started feeling sweaty and nauseous. I grabbed the puke bag and started gagging, then puking, and a really loud fart came out. Everyone heard it. The attendant switched me seat to sit alone. FML
Today, I was sick on an airplane. As we were taking off, I felt like I was ready to hurl. I was sitting in the window seat and was unable to get up in time to go to the bathroom so I was forced to grab the nearest container to puke in. It was a glass of juice belonging to the woman next to me. FML
Attempted good deed
Today, I saw a woman who I thought was pregnant on the bus. Trying to be nice, I offered her my seat and congratulated her. She wasn't pregnant, just holding a large bag of groceries. The entire bus heard me and the death glare she gave could’ve turned me to stone. FML
Smells like Toddler Spirit
Today, a toddler threw up on my backpack mid-flight. FML
Today, I saw a pregnant woman fall off her moped. As I helped her back up, I asked if her baby was okay. I was then blindsided by her brick of a purse while she screeched, "I'm not pregnant!" FML
Hello? Is it me you're looking for?
Today, I was at the airport to pick up my mother since my baby is due soon. As she arrived, I smiled wide and opened my arms for a hug, but she walked right by me. Apparently, being pregnant makes me unrecognizable. My husband and I had to tell it her was me, her own daughter. FML

You people do realize that not all people exchange rings when they are getting married. My cousins are SDA and they don't believe in wedding rings. They have three kids and I would hate for people to look down on her just b/c she isn't wearing a ring when she has been married for many years now.

Some people don't believe in a god, so the choose to not be married under a god. Marriage is a religious concept; if you don't have a religion, why bother getting married? Just because someone isn't married doesn't mean they can't have kids. That lady was quite rude :(

Being pregnant does not make this woman a *****/****/tramp... just because she doesn't have a ring doesn't mean anything. I was born 3 months before my parents were married that doesn't mean my parents weren't in love. People are stupid.

this whole thing makes me sick. on most of the other fmls the people commenting seem to be pretty good people, yet on this one, nearly everyone is advocating sinfulness. You people need to go to church or read the bible or something. Maybe you'll learn that marriage is more than a piece of paper, and completely necessary because of what it stands for.

If it is so important why is it still illegal for gay people to get married?

#178:How many cows, goats and chickens did you give your in laws to pay for your wife? How many wives and concubines do you have? Ya know, that's how marriage is like in the bible.

So it is safe to assume that you don't plan things well and will probably be on government assistance for food, medical care, continuing education, housing and anything else you can't afford. So glad 20% of my paycheck is subtracted in taxes for you and yours. FML.

To each his own I guess, but as for me personally....there is NO WAY in HELL I would go through labor & delivery without a rock on my finger!

ugly? Perhaps. A burden to society? Never!

A burden to Society? Yes. Because you'll pop out some judgmental little bastards of your own none day (If You already haven't) And you'll teach them that it's OK to Look down their hooked noses at people.

so because she's a potentially single mother she needs assisstance? how do you know she's not a big shot business woman with her own money? i don't see how you can judge someone so critically with a few vague sentences about her life and situation

Okay, can I just say that is really rude and disrespectful just to say that because someone isn't married they'll end up on government assistance. I know people that aren't married, have children and the only support of governmental support they get is Baby Bonus checks, which every mother in Canada gets. And seriously, who gives a fly rat's buttocks what the grumpy bitch thinks that's sitting next to you on a plane. If you are single, and I'm not saying that you are, but if, there is nothing wrong with it, all the power to you, hope everything works out well with the pregnancy. My mum doesn't wear wedding rings, never has this marriage (she divorced my daddy when I was a kid), but when she remarried she thought that they were pointless.

i think that being ugly definitely constitutes as a burden to society

@ #187: I like how you had absolutely no facts or any sort of sensible rebuttal to mymichelle's original post, leading to you simply insulting her appearance (which you haven't even seen). Did you ever learn the basis of debating? You automatically lose when you lose your temper and insult someone. You have no credibility. You are simply mad because she is correct. I hate welfare and those that take advantage of the government. -_-

Most of the time when pregnant, the woman's feet & hands swell up, & cannot wear the ring because it could cut of the circulation. Maybe she took it off before she even started to swell.

what if she was raped and doesn't believe in abortions, or can't afford an abortion, or it is illegal to have an abortion wherever she lives. since when does having sex before marriage make someone a **** anyway? it's 2009 people.

Umm who cares about if shes married. I thought you were'nt supposed to fly during your third trimester...
ohbonjour 0
Seriously, that was extremely rude that woman did that to you. Even if she doesn't believe in sex before marriage she shouldn't show her emotions. THat really pisses me off. She doesn't know your background or your history she's just assuming you're a ****. You could be with the baby's father for like, four years without getting married. Or maybe you just don't believe in marriage. Or maybe you just didn't have your ring on during the flight. People can be so damn rude sometimes...

People were having children for thousands of years before marriage in any way, Christian weddings or otherwise :) That's why we're here... weddings do not a child make. I think that they CAN be a good idea; they're legally binding & the kid MAY have more support if the parents divorce. But that's not even the case every time! People should get married if they want to, and have children if they want to.

I find it hard to believe that any real Christian would be reading a website called "**** my life". Also, you shoulda' puked on the bitch.
