Today, I found out I have an option on my phone to postpone the sending of my text messages. I thought it would be cute to send my boyfriend texts saying, "I love you and sweet dreams" every night at midnight for a month. He broke up with me and now I can't figure out how to stop the texts. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me via text message. Every 20 minutes or so, I'll get a notification that I have a new message, and I check it just to find that same message sitting there. I'm being trolled by my own phone. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years because I was tired of his childishness and anger, so he decided to send me 540 random text messages of scrambled letters in order to mess up my phone as well, as make me pay 20 cents for each message. FML
Girl power!
Today, I was trying to break up with my boyfriend over text. I was being really careful to phrase it nicely, and I hit send with a sigh of relief. Except I sent the text to my mom, who now keeps sending me unsolicited advice about my "love life" with an occasional "You go, girl!" FML
Now listen here, you lot…
Today, I sent out a Happy Snow Day text to 20 of my closest friends. My boyfriend, who doesn't have an iPhone, didn't realize it was a group text. He sent back a text breaking up with me. To all the people in the group message. FML
Spineless
Today, I received a text from my boyfriend breaking up with me. Not only was this a bit cowardly but he'd also sent it in a reply to our last interaction on our phones, a group chat with some of our friends, who started commenting with sad face emojis before I had even had the chance to see it. FML
Today, at exactly midnight, I get a text from my boyfriend saying we were done. I had just seen him 4 hours ago when we were out celebrating my birthday, and asked why he didnt just tell me then. He replies 'I couldn't break up with you on your birthday but i wanted it to be over ASAP' FML
Yikes
Today, my boyfriend of two years sent me a text message saying, "Don't worry I'm gonna break up with her soon. Love you." FML
Guilt trip
Today, I sent my boyfriend a sweet text message, since he recently complained that I'm rarely romantic. Instead of being happy, he decided that since it's so out of character for me, I must be cheating on him and must have only sent it out of guilt. FML
Today, I woke up to a text from my boyfriend that said, "Dude, I think she knows I'm going to break up with her." FML
Today, I got a text from my girlfriend saying she needed more phone credit, so I bought her more and got another message saying "Great, now I have enough credit for this..." as she spelled out a three page message breaking up with me. Yes, I paid for her to break up with me via text. FML

Hmm. Personally I think its just stupid. I mean really there's just no point in receiving the same automated message every night at midnight. [I'll pretend thats when he normally goes to sleep?] I mean I would really much rather have her CALL and tell me good night and stuff instead of the same auto message over and over again. It would sorta feel like shes not even bothering ya know? Edit: Yes, slag ftw.

Oh yes Unregistered, because many adults totally don't have sex within the first few weeks/months of dating each other. Love is not an age thing, it's a people thing, you cynic.

Are the texts not in your outbox where you can delete them before they're sent? Read your phone's manual, I bet there's a way to turn them off.

how do teenagers know what love is. . . . . love has been tossed around so much on tv its completely lost its meaning I mean you cant just say "i love you" in the first few weeks anybody that says i love you is obviously clingy and needs to get some friends

Maybe because of the timing. Why would he be up every night at midnight?

When I broke up with my ex I programmed his phone to send him a reminder every night. It simply said "you suck". I guarantee he never figured out how to fix it himself. And no, I don't feel bad about it considering he was sitting in jail on domestic violence charges at the time.
