Today, I finally came home from a semester of college, and all my parents and sister can talk about is how bad my acne has gotten. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I noticed that my acne has gotten so bad, I can see it out of my peripheral vision. FML
Freaked out
Today, I was talking to my parents when all of a sudden my dad started freaking out and asking my mom how I got this really bad allergy on my face. My mom just laughed, and then I had to explain to him that it was just my acne. The worst part is that he was dead serious the whole time. FML
Today, while talking about my plans for college, I was interrupted so my family could discuss my brother's zit. FML
Today, I found out that the acne under my arms was worse then the severe acne on my face. FML
Today, I finally saw a dermatologist due to my unusually severe acne. Now I know I actually have a rare disorder that makes me allergic to my own acne. FML
Spotted
Today, the pimples on my face are finally clearing up. They seem to have migrated to my ass. FML
Content warning
Today, I walked into the dining room to find my mom popping pimples on my dad's back. FML
My little boy
Today, I had to meet my mother. Being a college student, I decided I was too lazy to shave this morning. She noticed the stubble on my face, and started crying because I'm growing up. I'm 23 years-old. My dad yelled at me for making my mom cry. FML
Today, I realized my acne is so bad that the Facebook face recognition could recognize all of my friends in a group photo except me. FML
Today, I woke up with my eye swollen half shut. To spare the embarrassment, I asked my mom if I could stay home from school. She said no, but also attempted to make me feel better by saying that with my eye, my acne was unnoticeable. FML

Well that sucks. I'm sorry that's all they care about, maybe go hang with other family or friends until they realize is not that big of a deal

I'm sorry man. I had cystic acne a few years ago. I finally had to use acutane, so I haven't had a pimple in years now, though my skin is always dry. I feel your pain... -Ty

they're just mad because they're stuck at home eating cheetos & watching the office while you're out getting an education. give them a taste of their own medicine & hit em' where it hurts, with words.

Considering how many morons go to and finish colleges nowadays, your theory doesn't hold much water.

I don't think they are being mean at all just concerned but one wonders why you don't try the hundreds of acne treatments out there? maybe your just a pimply little emo

Have you ever wondered MetalCraze why there are so many treatments out there? Because acne is difficult to treat and there is never a simple one-way solution, hence why there are so many products. No one enjoys having acne, idiot, and if there was one magic product that worked for everyone, well then no one would have acne. Just count your blessings if you don't have it. I'm happy knowing that you at least have half a brain.

Maybe the should be talking about how bad your grammar is since you say that you're in college.

So do something about it! Either tell them to shut up, or get some acne medicine. Don't just complain on FML.

Try putting toothpaste on your face. I've heard it works wonders.

Wow, look at all the babies on here talking about grammar. Why do I get the distinct impression these complainers are all losers who major in areas like English or History? You know, subjects that don't really require any real gray matter. I'd rather have slightly subpar grammar whilst getting perfect grades in calculus and applied physics than be a whiny grammarian who nips at other people because of his/her own insecurities and academic shortcomings.

I think most of the kiddies whining about grammar are bored high schoolers, who spend 50% of their free time on Fmylife, and the other 50% taking emo angled pictures for their shitty Myspaces. They are naive and think that correcting grammar makes them look intelligent and mature, when in reality it makes them look like annoying twits. That's high schoolers for you, thinking they know everything.

How bad my acne has "gotten" or "become". I thought college students should know this.

You have no room to talk. Your first sentence should have ended with a question mark, and if you reread the OP's fml you will see the OP never had the word "gotten" in their post to begin with.

No, it shouldn't have ended with a question mark. The sentence was phrased oddly, but the first sentence wasn't a question. :D
