Today, I fell and fractured my tailbone. I just healed from my last tailbone fracture 4 weeks ago. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had my first hockey game after being out with a shoulder injury. I ended up cracking my tail bone. FML
Today, being my usual clumsy self, I slipped on the stairs and landed on my tailbone. Hard. Now, I can't even sit up. I have to drive to school and sit on a very hard plastic chair for four and a half hours tomorrow. FML
It sure does
Today, after I fell on ice twice hitting my tailbone last week. I'm in excruciating pain but can't get out of work, no internet for over a week so I can't do college work, a guy ran into my car, totaling it. it's 20 years-old so insurance probably won't give me enough to replace. Bad luck comes in threes. FML
Don't catch you slippin' now
Today, I somehow miscounted the steps on the staircase I've used multiple times a day for 20 years, then fell all the way to the bottom. Doctors say I fractured my coccyx, which is basically the ass bone at the bottom of my spine. I can neither sit or lie on my back for at least 6 weeks. FML
Today, I fractured my shinbone after slipping on a leaf. FML
Ouch
Today, the day after saying that I'd never broken a bone, I snapped my fibula in half. FML
Never joke about it
Today, I got back to work from a 4 month hospital stay and I joked with my boss that after so long away, I’m not planning on being sick again for years. Two hours later, a coworker knocked me down the stairs. A dislocated hip and a broken femur requiring 4-6 weeks of recovery. FML
Heavy load
Today, I was getting ready for work. When I stepped back, my ankle rolled and my fat ass landed on it with my foot sideways under me. Now I’m in a boot for 6 weeks and have 6 weeks of physical therapy ahead of me. FML
Today, I fractured a bone in my foot by dropping a shampoo bottle on it. FML
Today, I was walking to work, when I slipped and landed on my tail bone. Worse still, my hot coffee went flying into my face. I currently can't see out of my left eye. FML

You should always keep your coccyx wrapped in rubber!

I was once bouncing up and down on an exercise ball and my friend decided it would be a good idea to kick it out from under me, so I feel your pain. That wasn't even a lasting injury either. Hope your butt feels better soon :)

What does a person do for a fractured tailbone? Because I may have fractured mine.
Rented_eyebrows 18
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

A donut. Thats pretty much it.

Comfort food is nice, but it'll take more than pastries to heal a broken butt-bone.

Soft foods (no straining), a donut pillow, lay on your stomach a lot, no soft chairs, and pain meds. Nothing can be done to repair it. Just take measures to keep it in place while healing.

Thank you! I figured out the stomach thing pretty quickly. Sitting, standing, or laying almost any other way friggen hurts. You've been more helpful than my doctor. She told me that whether it was bruised or broken, they couldn't do anything. I understand that; it's not like they can put my rear end in a cast until it heals. But there was no mention of the foods, pillows or chairs. She just gave me muscle relaxers that are supposed to help me sleep but don't. Again, thank you.

If your falling more often than you usually do or have in the past, you should see your doctor and rule out certain issues- examples would be inner ear damage, and tumors on the spine, etc. Sudden changes in balance aren't supposed to occur.
