Today, I passed out on the way to work. Some lucky passerby took this as an opportunity to help themself to my purse. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I fainted on the sidewalk. When I woke up, I was still lying on the sidewalk, people were stepping over me and my purse was gone. FML
Today, someone stole my purse and phone while I was giving CPR to someone who had a heart attack on the subway. FML
Today, I was riding my bike to work in a hurry and hit a pothole. I flew off and hit the ground hard. I was badly shaken, but an old lady came over, checked me out and helped me to my feet. After she left the scene, I realized she'd pickpocketed my wallet while "helping" me. FML
Smooth criminal
Today, I was walking down the street, when a little old lady bumped into me and fell over. I helped her up and she thanked me for being "such a nice young man". It was only an hour later as I was in line at the store that I realized she'd pickpocketed my wallet. FML
Today, I saw an elderly woman in need of help of crossing a street. I helped her across. On the way she just about fell and held onto me to keep from hitting the ground. After she left on her bus I reached for my wallet. It was gone. I had just been robbed by a 70 year old. FML
Today, I saw an elderly man struggling to make it across a busy street. I jumped up from my table at Starbucks to help him, leaving my things behind. When I got back to my table feeling good, I found that my coffee had disappeared. So had my wallet. FML
Today, at the supermarket, a man collapsed. I gave CPR while the cashier called for help. During this, the other patrons were complaining that no other register was open. Once the ambulance arrived, I returned to my cart to find items removed and 40 dollars taken from my purse. FML
Today, I helped a "blind" man across the street. He kindly said thank you and patted me on the back. Then, I went into a store and realized my wallet was missing. FML
Today, I felt a tug on my backpack and found my wallet missing. A nice stranger pointed to a guy running down the stairs and said "There goes the guy who took your wallet!" I ran to catch the supposed offender. The 'nice' stranger was the actual offender distracting me as he got away. FML
Today, at work, an old lady came through my line to buy some groceries. She told me she lost her purse and was a little short. It was busy, so I pulled out my little purse and gave her the money she needed. A few minutes later she returned with my boss, insisting that my purse was hers. FML

I'm sorry that happened to you OP, there are some real works of art out there though. I do hope you're okay!

What a shame, instead of helping you and ask about your health. They helped themselves with your purse. This is the society we live in nowadays.

Society has always had psychopaths with no conscience. Hopefully science advances to the point where we can breed them out of the gene pool.

Eighteen people would have done the same apparently..

I just watched that CNN Heroes show and was starting to feel pretty good about humanity. Now I'm back to my good ol' misanthropic self.

People these days are just awful. But when you say you were on your way, does that mean you were riding public transit or something? If so that just makes this so much worse. I'm sorry this happened to you OP and I hope you're okay.

Can't believe someone would take advantage of a person in this situation, instead of checking on their well being. Karma will definitely deal with them, hope you recovered fully OP

That sucks. See if there are any CCTV cameras if it was outside a shop?
