Today, I fractured my shinbone after slipping on a leaf. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I fractured a bone in my foot by dropping a shampoo bottle on it. FML
Ouch
Today, the day after saying that I'd never broken a bone, I snapped my fibula in half. FML
Sprain in the ass
Today, after two months of recovering from a sprained ankle, the doctor told me I was fully healed. On the way to my car from the doctor's, I stepped on some leaves, which were covering a small hole. A hole big enough for me to trip on and give me another sprained ankle. FML
Today, I fell off my bike. I grazed my knee, shin, thigh, hip, collar bone, shoulder and face. I also strained my wrist. As I was wheeling my bike away, I stung my other leg on nettles. FML
Today, I managed to fracture my shoulder blade and dislocate my shoulder, just by falling off a deckchair. FML
Today, I tripped over a "Caution: Slippery When Wet" floor sign and sprained my ankle. FML
Today, I went on a hike. It had snowed the night before so I wore warm clothes. They didn’t help when I slipped and broke my leg. FML
Today, as I was taking the garbage out, I tripped over my own feet, causing my knee to dislocate in such a way that it shattered the back of my kneecap and fractured my femur. I guess I won't be taking the garbage out again anytime soon. FML
Today, I woke up after being sick from the flu and tried to get out of bed. I forgot I was in a bunk bed and broke my ankle in the fall down. FML
Today, I fractured my tibia, fibula, and tore a tendon in my ankle. How? You might ask. By stepping in a hole at soccer practice. Now I’ll be out for the entire season with months of rehab. FML

Shin we stop with these puns? Op is in pain, leaf him/her alone.

#10 you should have just done the leaf pun, the shin was a stretch and really tainted the whole comment.

That was bad and you should feel bad.

I do feel bad, but those leaf puns were stale. Op must feel worse anyways. I wonder what the first ever pun was...

You forced it, and this is what happens.

What a great fall story. Did you happen to fall into a woman's arms and instantly fall in love?
MrSassypants 34
Nah, OP fell and fractured their shinbone. But OP did fall into the nurse's arms, then the nurse accidentally dropped OP and they fractured their other shinbone.

Bad luck won't leaf you alone, huh?

How does one slip on a leaf, exactly?
MrSassypants 34
The person step on the leaf, the leaf slides the foot suddenly, the person loses balance, and then the person falls over. That's exactly how it happens.
SecundusSecunda 27
I would think depending on how big the leaf is, in this case lets pretend it has a wide surface area, combined with a wet surface It could be slippery

I can assure you that it takes years of practice and dedication, #13.

With all the climate change and deforestation humanity contributes to, it was only a matter of time before the environment fought back.
