Today, I fainted on the sidewalk. When I woke up, I was still lying on the sidewalk, people were stepping over me and my purse was gone. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I passed out on the way to work. Some lucky passerby took this as an opportunity to help themself to my purse. FML
Today, someone stole my purse and phone while I was giving CPR to someone who had a heart attack on the subway. FML
Today, I was sitting in the cafeteria with my friends when I suddenly passed out due to my hypoglycemia. When I woke up, I discovered that I was still in the same spot and my friends had abandoned me to go to class. Also, my stuff was stolen. FML
Today, at the supermarket, a man collapsed. I gave CPR while the cashier called for help. During this, the other patrons were complaining that no other register was open. Once the ambulance arrived, I returned to my cart to find items removed and 40 dollars taken from my purse. FML
Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML
Today, I was walking down the street when a man stole my purse. He then opened the purse, threw up in it, and gave it back. FML
Today, I was walking down the street, when a little old lady bumped into me and fell over. I helped her up and she thanked me for being "such a nice young man". It was only an hour later as I was in line at the store that I realized she'd pickpocketed my wallet. FML
Today, while I was walking home from work, it started to rain. Clutching my bag in one hand, I started to run so I wouldn't get too wet. I saw a man running towards me and all of a sudden he tackled me to the ground. He thought I had stolen someone's handbag. FML
Today, I was riding my bike to work in a hurry and hit a pothole. I flew off and hit the ground hard. I was badly shaken, but an old lady came over, checked me out and helped me to my feet. After she left the scene, I realized she'd pickpocketed my wallet while "helping" me. FML
Today, I helped a "blind" man across the street. He kindly said thank you and patted me on the back. Then, I went into a store and realized my wallet was missing. FML

This happens in any country except Singapore. You should go to the police, they recorded everything with street cams.

im from singapore. there will always be the kind Samaritans and the self-centred people, regardless of which city it is. i must agree, that in our culture, its just odd to randomly smile at people but there are those who do that. probably just the happy ones. but anyway, im very curious as to where this happened. considering how little interesting stuff we have in our papers, wouldn't this have appeared o.0 or did i just miss it? if i must, i do have an analogy. blind man, on the bus, i have no idea how he knew where to get on and off and what bus, but anyway he was on the bus, the bus driver was helping him [i guess thats how he knew where to get off]. he got off at my stop and there were quite a few people helping him and i think a young lady walked him all the way back. i suspect the new generation is alot more open to randomly smiling and being nice in general. for the sgeans who happily slam sg here, have you done your part as a nice and happy friendly singaporean? or do you just take pride in not being one?
