Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Classic mistake
Today, I realized I'd lost my wallet when paying for groceries. I had to put all the items back and leave the store feeling so embarrassed in front of everyone. FML
Today, I left my wallet on top of my car when I filled up with gas. I drove away and didn't realize it until I got home. I went back and found it on the side of the road. Empty of my credit cards, pictures and checks. All that was left was my driver's license. FML
Losing my mind
Today, I spent an hour looking for my wallet before leaving for work. I checked my jacket, bag, kitchen counter, and even the fridge for some reason. I finally gave up and took my spare card. At lunchtime, I reached into my coat pocket and found the wallet. I'd been wearing the coat the entire morning. FML
Respect
Today, I went to the grocery store, but once I'd filled my cart, I realized that I'd forgotten my wallet, and because I'm not the sort of animal who just dumps stuff in random aisles, I had to awkwardly put all my items back on their shelves. FML
Today, I finally decided to go Christmas shopping. It's only once I arrived that I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. FML
Help!
Today, I went to the store, but after I'd selected my items, I saw that I'd forgotten my wallet. When I tried to explain to the cashier, he thought that I was trying to steal and called the cops. My roommate had to come to the store to save me. FML
Brain freeze
Today, I realized my wallet was missing right as I went to pay for my groceries. I frantically searched the store, retraced my steps, and finally found it. It was inside a freezer, where I'd apparently placed it in when I was grabbing ice cream five minutes earlier. FML
Today, I walked out of the store, car keys in hand, only to discover my car was missing. After a frantic search, I started to hyperventilate and a nearly had a full-blown panic attack. Then I remembered I walked to the store. I am an idiot. FML
Today, the police called because someone had turned in my wallet that was stolen. I happily drove home only to find that my house had been robbed and ransacked. FML
Get back
Today, after shopping alone at a grocery store, I was taking my groceries back to my car when a kid grabbed one of my bags and ran. Deciding not to risk leaving the rest of my groceries stranded, I didn't chase him. Later, I realized that was the bag my credit card was in. FML

You say "several hours later" you realized your wallet was missing. This leads one to believe that you were either at another store, or at home. If you're at another store and you searched your house and the original store parking lot, this means you were in the car twice, so you should have felt it in the car at that point. If you were at your house already, you were still in the car once to go to the other store, so you should have felt it then, not on the drive back home. I call fake.

FAKE. The op is a faker. She has two FMLs on the first page (RIGHT UNDER EACH OTHER.) Her life can't possibly suck that bad.

You had your cards cancelled before you even got in the car to get home? Rush much?

That sucks. But at the same time, I'd be so relieved that my wallet wasn't lost or stolen that I wouldn't be too mad. I'd be sad, I'd probably cry, but in the end, YAY my wallet wasn't lost! :D

How did you never think to check the car?? You had to drive home, and then drive back, and none of these times you thought to give a cursory look around the car, even just the driver's seat? Really now?

Yes, because women NEVER lose their purses and then force their brother to stop the very important engineering project he's doing, which needs to be completed by the end of the day mind you, so he can help her find it by backtracking to every single store they went to that day. 16 stores! 16! Who has the energy to hit 16 stores in one day!?

Wait, so, you drove home, from the store, to look there, drove back to the parking lot, and drove home again and THEN you felt it?
