Today, I broke up with my boyfriend because I found an email he had written to an ex-fling telling her he was single and wanted to meet up. He wrote that email from my computer, in my apartment, on Valentine's Day. FML

Today, I broke up with my boyfriend whom I love dearly because he doesn't share his feelings and won't commit. Yesterday, he wrote me a long love letter telling me he wanted to marry me. One of my kids had shoved it under my printer and I didn't find it until after he had moved out. FML

Today, my boyfriend of a year broke up with me because "God told him to." What God didn't tell him was that I would check his e-mail and find all the e-mails to and from his new girlfriend. FML

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me because I checked his phone. The reason I did so was to get his mum’s number so I could arrange to send her his Xmas present in a parcel, as a surprise as I wouldn't be with him. He found out when he asked me how I managed it, and I told him honestly. FML

Today, I flew 8 hours to visit my boyfriend. When I arrived at the airport, and he started taking long to show up, I checked my email to see the info. I hit the junk mail by accident and found his last 10 emails in there. He had broken up with me a week ago. FML

That happened to a friend of mine except that she found out on her own & the worst part for her was that everyone knew but no one told her about it. At least you found out! I know its painful....... Esecially since they always try to lie & say it meant nothing but its for the best. Stay strong! You'll see you did the right thing leaving him. You deserve soneone who's gonna respect you and be faithful. Not someone who's still hung up on their ex and is gonna lie abut it and email them on Valentine's Day off your computer! What a Bastard!

Agree. If your already checking his emails,texts, myspace, and who knows what else your checking that your hiding than you guys shouldn't even be together! He's a dick for writing it on your computer but did you ever stop to think he wanted you to find out? Sounds like it! It sucks but get Over it! Relationships only work if their's trust! The relationship is already damaged. Move on and find someone better

yeah, that sucks what happened to you. No one deserves to be lied to like that. You are a girl. I assume a very good looking girl. Go to a bar and have guys buy you drink and tell you how pretty you are. If I were a girl, I do that. I also assume you are not hidiously deformed in the face that no guy will poke you with a 5 ft. pole. If you have a big brother who pumps iron more frequently than Arnold, have him go over to your ex's place to teach him manners. If you go back to him, that's all on you. Then you are telling him that you don't care enough about yourself. He might as well have another girlfriend because it's not like he'll change. Hell, you might as well become best friends with his new girlfriend. Even better, indulge him in every guy's fantasy and have a threesome with his new girlfriend. That would be awesome.

Two years ago, on Valentine's Day, my then wife was a bit shaken up. I had tried to make Valentine's special as always, and she seemed distant and cold. After a bit of coaxing I was able to get to to tell me that she had been cheating on me since Christmas. I was pretty beat up over all this for about two months, but I kept my feet moving, and I can't say I've been happier. I've gotten myself into shape (lost ~150 pounds), bought a condo, a new car, and I keep my eyes forward, I keep striving for more. Make better things out of your life.
