Today, I flew 8 hours to visit my boyfriend. When I arrived at the airport, and he started taking long to show up, I checked my email to see the info. I hit the junk mail by accident and found his last 10 emails in there. He had broken up with me a week ago. FML

Today, it's been a week since I flew down to stay with my long-distance boyfriend. We went on long walks on the shore, under the stars, and had an unforgettable picnic viewing the sunset. I just now received a message of screenshots displaying him attempting to hook up with another girl. FML
Today, I discovered a bunch of emails from my old account that weren't forwarded to my new one. Because of this, I missed a job offer, as well as all the emails from my long-distance boyfriend asking if he could visit. I still don't have a job, and I broke up with him because he "failed to communicate." FML
Today, I went through my boyfriend’s emails and found out that he cheated on me the day before he asked me to move in with him. FML
Today, I was making out with my boyfriend. When we took a break and went downstairs, he checked the mail. He had received a letter from his ex-girlfriend, which he opened in front of me. He then began sobbing on my shoulder and broke up with me. He still had to drive me home. FML
Today, I got a postcard from my boyfriend who is on vacation in the Caribbean. He's breaking up with me. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend because I found an email he had written to an ex-fling telling her he was single and wanted to meet up. He wrote that email from my computer, in my apartment, on Valentine's Day. FML
Today, I got an email saying the gift I'd ordered for my boyfriend of three years had been sent. I ordered it a couple of days ago because I thought he needed cheering up. I guess he found a better way of doing so himself; he broke up with me yesterday. FML
Today, my fiancé broke up with me, because he was mad I was worried about him due to him not answering me for ten hours. FML

YDI for not configuring your junkmail filters. Why would you take such a long trip, and expect him to meet you at the airport after not hearing back from him in a week? Normal people confirm these arrangements a day or two prior to flight.

sometimes it just goes to junk mail. I've had it happen before it's really annoying. op: lol that sucks but if u had to fly 8 hours to visit him then probably good he broke up with you

He shouldn't have to pay U: there was obviously some fault he saw in her to break up with her. maybe if she met his standards he wouldn't have dumped her and she wouldn't have taken an 8 hour long trip to see her now-ex. B)

Well, he obviously did know she was planning on visiting since she expected him to pick her up. So i'm assuming she had bought her tickets before he broke up with her. In that case I'd say it was F'd on his part. 8 hour flights aren't cheap.

you could have told him you were visting. but its both of your faults. first its you boyfirends fault because he didnt tell you in person or even on the phone. but he chose email. second is u not checking up on him. i mean he sent you 10 emails. so he probably didnt send them all at the same time. you should have called or something. even if you were trying to suprise him. just call him to say hi or something.
