Today, I went to the emergency room with chest pain. I didn't have a heart attack, but I now have a broken nose after passing out and face-planting in the waiting room. FML

Down in the dumps
Today, it was my turn to take out the trash. While walking to the dumpster, I slip and fall. It doesn't really hurt, so I get up and go to the dumpster, but the top is frozen stuck. It won't budge. Then I really pull with a lot of force, and the lid swings open and busts my nose. FML

How hard were you squeezing? If I wasn't getting anywhere, I'd give up, and cover it with a band-aid, not fight it, and lose.

I'd use hot compress to help it come to a head and heat a pin over a flame/rubbing alcohol to prick the skin. Then it should come out. Your nose cartilage will never heal right.
