Today, I agreed to go on a date with the creepy guy from my Economics class because I'm so broke that I could really use the free meal. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, just like the past 2 weeks, I'm so broke that I only got to eat dinner because I went on a first date with a guy from Tinder. FML
Tonight, on First Dates…
Today, a guy invited me to a first date at a new restaurant. I was going to pay my way, but when he saw how steep the bill was, he insisted that I pay for his meal too, to prove I'm a "real feminist". FML
Today, I went on a date. I took her out to an expensive steak house. When she was done eating, she got up, said she was married, and told me she only accepted the date because I'd be paying for it. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy that I have been crushing on for 2 years. At the end of the date he tells me that he is moving away and as his going away present, I could pay for dinner. FML
Today, I went on a dinner date with the guy I like. He ate all his food then started eating off my plate, going on to eat over half of my food. When the bill came, he made me pay for it. FML
Today, I went out on a first date. He insisted we go to McDonald's and split a Happy Meal because he "didn't want to waste any money on a first date." FML
Today, a first date with a guy went so badly that he actually paid me to never call him again. FML
Today, I went to the movies with my crush, who had asked me out on a date. Assuming he'd pay, I left my money at home. When the time came to buy the tickets, he only bought one for himself. FML
The date from hell #5676
Today, I went on an a date with a guy I met online. We were waiting in line at Starbucks when he turned to me and said, "Do you want anything?" Just before I was about to answer, he practically shoved in front of me and paid for himself. The cashier looked more horrified than I did. FML
Today, a cute guy I recognized from one of my classes messaged me on a dating site. He wanted help with homework. FML

Getting a job would spare you from having to do this again in the future.

This makes me sick. So sick that I had to make an account just to tell you what a horrible person you are. I can't even believe that you would judge another person without even getting to know him first and than go and pretend to like him just to get a free meal. And the worst part is that after he paid for YOUR meal you go and tell thousands of people on FML that he's "creepy". He probably has more dignity and respect for others in his pinky finger than you have in your entire body. Learn some respect, OP.

I'm going to assume your probably not a girl because if you were, you would understand what she means by creepy. Have you ever had someone constantly ignore your rejections and polite ways of telling them you aren't interested? It really does start to get creepy because it the ones who can't take that simple no who end up never taking a no from a girl, no matter the situation. So I'm sorry but, until that's something you've personally dealt with, don't say it's unfair to call him creepy. You have no idea what he's done/said to OP.

I don't think you should feel bad. He probably is going to be happy to take you out, even if you think you don't like him, the date could change your mind. I have went on dates many times where I didn't think I would like the guy, sometimes I didn't and sometimes we would go on a few more dates :) I think if a guy takes you out he knows that there is a chance that it will fizzle and he will be out a bit of time and money, but that is dating. I don't think he will be like head over heels on the first date, so if you go out once and decide not to again, I don't think you were "using" him, I mean, he offered a date and you accepted. I don't think that makes you a bad person.

Did you read the same FML I did? In which OP insults the guy and makes it very clear that she's using him for the free food and no other reason.
