Today, at a science-fiction convention, a woman came up to me and told me that my white face paint was a mess, my contacts looked cheap, and my costume was an all-round failure. I wasn't wearing a costume, I'm an albino. FML

Today, I was complimented for having amazingly lifelike warts as part of my witch costume, and was asked how I achieved the effect so well. I didn't have the heart to admit they were just my pimples under green makeup. FML
Today, I was accused of digital blackface and culturally appropriating my own culture. FML
Today, I saw photos of my roommate a recent party. OK, I'll admit I'm a little dark-skinned, but was it really necessary for him to color his face in black marker so he could go as "me" for a Halloween party? FML
Today, I went to a Halloween party dressed as a pirate. Someone complimented me on how convincing the fake teeth were that I had on for my costume. I wasn't wearing fake teeth. FML
Today, I decided not to wear any makeup. I got told 13 times at work that I looked ill. FML
Today, I went to a Halloween party dressed in Charlie Brown's ghost costume, a white sheet with holes all over. I got beat up for dressing like a member of the KKK. FML
Today, after having been told that I looked horrible for the last five months, I decided to give myself a make-over. As soon as the make-up artist was done, I told her I didn't like it, and that I still didn't like how I look. She simply replied: ''Well, I'm a make-up artist, not a magician!'' FML
Today, even though I'm overweight, I was feeling alright about the way I looked in the historical costume I'm required to wear by my job. A little kid came in and asked me if I was having a baby. Guess I don't look as good as I thought. FML
Today, everyone commented on how realistic my "fat suit" was. I didn't dress up for Halloween. FML

Well she's not worth anyone's time if she's going to sit there and judge someone she doesn't even know. She's just one of those "assholes" that you're going to run into. We live through them every day and sometimes it sucks complete butt. But at least you're unique and that's all that matters. Just keep your chin up and continue to live life the fullest(: Just because you're albino doesn't mean you're an outcast, I promise.

I hope you told her you are albino in real life also I can't stand those people no one has come to my face and told me probably because they're scared I might sit on them since I'm a big girl but I hate people who say things like to fat too short make ups not right or any other thing to hurt people who just wanted to get into the act and have fun I've actually told staff at a con I go to every year that if it weren't for the risk of being banned I would beat the crap out of these kind of people because cons are a place of fun and when you have these people being rude and hurting people its no fun

I REALLY hope you told her you were actually an albino and made her feel bad. Its not up to strangers to criticise your appearance and most people actually think albinos look really cool. You had every right to make a snide comment back but seeing as your easy-going enough to post it here you probably didnt.
