Today, after years of torment by my anxiety disorders and therapy and medication not helping, I've made the decision to try hypnosis. After doing a Google search and finding out my therapist is a man, my overly jealous fiancé insisted on joining, "because he might hypnotise you into cheating." FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend tried to hypnotize me into breaking up with him. FML
That's… a crime?
Today, I finally told my boyfriend that I see a therapist every week because, amongst other things, I'm terrified of being locked in a room. He didn't believe me, so he locked me in the bathroom "for a laugh." I had a panic attack and passed out. FML
Fixed it
Today, my fiance finally began seeing a therapist, after months of my begging him to. The therapist convinced him that he and I had "irreconcilable differences" so now he's asked for the ring back. FML
Run for cover
Today, the most manipulative man I know decided he's going to get me to be his next wife. I'm still in therapy after breaking free from growing up in a violent and manipulative household. He's working with me, so there's limited options of getting out of his presence. I'm scared for my sanity and my freedom. FML
It's not me, it's you
Today, after I tried to break up with my boyfriend, he said he won't give up on us and asked me to go to therapy. According to him, “You might need medication for how you feel.” FML
Today, after therapy for obsessing over every woman who talks to me, all I could think about was how I could seduce my therapist. I think I still need a lot of help. FML
Today, I realized I can never live with my fiancée. A childhood of systematic teasing, abuse, and humiliation has made me terrified to use a bathroom around a guy if there's the slightest chance I can be heard, seen, or even have anyone know what I'm up to. Therapy has yet to fix anything. FML
Nervous
Today, I went to the hospital for constant dizziness and insomnia, and was diagnosed with anxiety. I figured out that the main source of my anxiety is not my job but my boyfriend, who has avoidant personality, which makes him constantly refuse almost everything that I request. He's a guy who just doesn't know how to show his love. FML
Startled
Today, I was writing in a journal as part of my therapy. I jumped and hid it when my boyfriend startled me by coming in. He now swears I must be cheating, that I’m keeping secrets from him and I trust a stranger with my personal thoughts more than I trust him. That’s kinda the point of therapy. FML
Nailbiting
Today, my anxiety has been so bad, I have had vivid dreams of my boyfriend of 6 months cheating on me. This is not the first time these dreams have happened, and I know for a fact he is not cheating. My anxiety is going to turn me into the crazy girlfriend from hell. FML

As much as it sounds jealous.. He got a point which might occur in sexual assault...

We can only hope OP did at least a background check on the therapist. I don't necessarily agree with the man here with his wording, but I would be VERY concerned if my SO looked for some random hypnotherapist who asked her to be in a room with him for a good hour or two. At any rate, why do people even go for hypnotherapy??? I personally feel losing control of your own mind one of the scariest things that can happen to a person

Would you also be afraid of your significant other going to the doctor because "who knows what the doctor really does when they touch them?"

Also, I don't think you know what hypnotherapy is.

My mom went to a hypnotist as a last resort for smoking. She had been a smoker for 14 years and now she can't stand the smell of it. The smell actually makes her sick now. Some people go to help weight loss and other things. It works better if you're actively trying to get your desired result though

Maybe I'm reading hypnotism in the broadest sense but it does open your brain for suggestion right? I'm fine with doctors, she can fend herself if the doctor tries a stunt as she would be alert. I don't know about hypnotism, too freaky of a method to me

Why would it bother you if the one person you chose to spend the rest of your life with came...? Are you planning on cheating anyways?

i wouldn't let my partner to go to therapist for hypnosis alone, not because of jealousy but safety reasons though...

Tell him "no". Your mental health is more important than validating his feelings of insecurity.

I don't mean to sound callous, but he needs some therapy for his jealousy issues, and your mental health is too important to allow his issues to interfere. Tell him no. His jealousy is another issue entirely, and you can't fix it.

Maybe your anxiety comes from your husband as well. Good luck anyway to tell him to stop being jealous.

Maybe you should try couples therapy as well, seems your fiance is contributing to your ansiety...

Im pretty sure half your problems come from your overly jealous boyfriend. Its hard constantly worrying about who you talk to, where you go, and if you're going to upset him.

If a medical professional were to coerce you into performing sexual acts when you are not in a conscious state of mind and able to consent that is rape. That's pretty concerning if your fiancé considers you being raped as cheating on him. His jealousy is off the charts, seems like a red flag to me.
