Today, after years of torment by my anxiety disorders and therapy and medication not helping, I've made the decision to try hypnosis. After doing a Google search and finding out my therapist is a man, my overly jealous fiancé insisted on joining, "because he might hypnotise you into cheating." FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend tried to hypnotize me into breaking up with him. FML
That's… a crime?
Today, I finally told my boyfriend that I see a therapist every week because, amongst other things, I'm terrified of being locked in a room. He didn't believe me, so he locked me in the bathroom "for a laugh." I had a panic attack and passed out. FML
Fixed it
Today, my fiance finally began seeing a therapist, after months of my begging him to. The therapist convinced him that he and I had "irreconcilable differences" so now he's asked for the ring back. FML
Run for cover
Today, the most manipulative man I know decided he's going to get me to be his next wife. I'm still in therapy after breaking free from growing up in a violent and manipulative household. He's working with me, so there's limited options of getting out of his presence. I'm scared for my sanity and my freedom. FML
It's not me, it's you
Today, after I tried to break up with my boyfriend, he said he won't give up on us and asked me to go to therapy. According to him, “You might need medication for how you feel.” FML
Today, after therapy for obsessing over every woman who talks to me, all I could think about was how I could seduce my therapist. I think I still need a lot of help. FML
Today, I realized I can never live with my fiancée. A childhood of systematic teasing, abuse, and humiliation has made me terrified to use a bathroom around a guy if there's the slightest chance I can be heard, seen, or even have anyone know what I'm up to. Therapy has yet to fix anything. FML
Nervous
Today, I went to the hospital for constant dizziness and insomnia, and was diagnosed with anxiety. I figured out that the main source of my anxiety is not my job but my boyfriend, who has avoidant personality, which makes him constantly refuse almost everything that I request. He's a guy who just doesn't know how to show his love. FML
Startled
Today, I was writing in a journal as part of my therapy. I jumped and hid it when my boyfriend startled me by coming in. He now swears I must be cheating, that I’m keeping secrets from him and I trust a stranger with my personal thoughts more than I trust him. That’s kinda the point of therapy. FML
Nailbiting
Today, my anxiety has been so bad, I have had vivid dreams of my boyfriend of 6 months cheating on me. This is not the first time these dreams have happened, and I know for a fact he is not cheating. My anxiety is going to turn me into the crazy girlfriend from hell. FML

Just get over all the anxiety problems. All in your head

The only way this could be remotely fine would be if your therapist is an ex who was madly in love with you and even proposed, only you brutally humiliated him in public in front of his friends and family as you rejected him due to you cheating on him with your current fiancé. Otherwise, that's a bit much.

I wouldn't be able to stand a romantic relationship with someone that jealous. It'd drive me insane. You should talk to him, and ask him if there's a way you can help him learn to trust you. If he refuses or just continues being jealous, I'd reconsider the wedding. Those kinds of relationships can turn dangerous real fast.

I would say your life sucks but in all fairness you chose your fiance and decided to marry him. You should know by now what type of person he is.

You just need to talk to your boyfriends that therapists don't really specialize in hypnotism,

Better have the hypnotist work on your fiancee first. Maybe he can hypnotize the jealousy away? Lol In all seriousness though, I am sorry you're going through that. If your fiancee is part of the problem, perhaps couples therapy could be part of the solution? If he really is serious about marriage, he should trust you, be confident in himself and the relationship, have good communication skills, and should support you in a positive way. Best of luck!

And now we have established at least one of the causes that have held you back from recovery...
